I'm an old computer nerd and to this day dont like microsoft, or how gates ran his business. But (and now the kooks will go crazy) I do have to say that the Gates have done great work with their philanthropy. Believe me (or dont) no one could have been more skeptical of their work at first than me. When they were helping build infrastructure in the 3rd world I was sure it was so he could build factories or something there in the future and exploit the 3rd world cheap labor. And all of course in the name of charity to avoid taxes. But I like to think I'm reasonable and over the years I've seen the great benefit from the work of the Gates foundation and have had to change my mind. While not a fan of microsoft at all, I do think that the Gates have done a ton of world to try and better this world with little in return except the knowledge that they are doing something good for this planet and our future. It really sickens me when I see these people posting literally insane, hateful and frankly seemingly threatening comments. I am glad you continue to do good work despite all this and wanted to let you know people like myself who don't have the assets you do to change the world are glad you do and are doing so, many others in your position only care about themselves and their families
