Very nice little cassette recorder! I have seen this on eBay several times, and always loved the way this one looks. The sound quality is very good for a DC bias unit. Some styles of this, such as the size, battery compartment, and volume control are strikingly similar to the Panasonic (slim-line) RQ-2718.
That "extra" hole next to the mic input is prepared for a microphone with remote, there use to be a 2.5 mm connector for the on/off switch on the mic. Only that function is not available on this model. But if you have such a microphone you can connect it anyway. If you follow my explanation :-)
This one looks VERY difrent then mine wich is from 1981 - 1982. Mine is a n2234 and it’s overall bigger, more features and connections and it looks kinda 70s.
Hi ! I have this tape player, i try yesterday to plug on external speakers but i have only left Channel working... Do you have any Idea ? I used a jack câble.
Hola.
The instruction book was dated and printed in 8/82, probably when the D6620 series was released. The motor was made in 11/82 and final assembly some time after that. So we can assume my unit wasn't a very early one.
ahh that red record button, i miss it so much, an icon of the 80s
I was lucky my old boom box my dad brought from the landfill who is been long dead had a green for fm station red for power even had a equalizer
