Gens is always the main problem with solo Q. People just don't seem to understand (or they are throwing to complete challanges) that most killers don't have the ability to hook ppl faster than a survivors speed to do gens. This glaring issue is most visible at top MMR where 3 gens will always pop in the first chase, then only needing 2 more gens with the killers 1 hook, its always a losing game for killer. Every match I get where ppl actually do gens while I run the killer for 5 mins... the match is over in 5 mins... It is so simple. If they don't do gens, it's always a lose/hatch game. Gens Gens Gens... If ppl would do gens, the stats BHVR puts out would be massively different :D
Yeah, but you realize that this takes a killer, who is dumb enough to follow you for 5 minutes. My main gripe with SoloQ, by now, is actually more the miss-timed altruism rather than the gen speed. So often killers get snowball pressure just gifted to them, because some idiot has to unhook mid-chase or a meager 7 seconds after the killer got the hook. This often results in completely unnecessary hook trades. And don’t get me started on flashlight scrubs, who fumble their save attempt, which then means that the killer gets a fresh chase straight of the hook (which will most likely take place near said hook). Or how about these morons, who heal under the hook ….. against a Billy, Wraith or Blight (who is currently not in chase)?
