Tbh I have a theory that Chica was ALMOST able to resist the hack like Freddy, the twitching and slow movements showing she's trying SO hard to fight it. Another key indicator I noticed is she never really implicates SHE wants to hurt him. Roxy and Monty say like "Hey kid, cmon out, WE'RE only trying to help" "Give up" etc etc
But CHICA'S are much more caring. "Your family is looking for you" "Our friendly security staff can help!" and more. She only really implicated herself by saying "You're safe with me" etc. She seems that she really DOES care about Gregory, but sadly can't control her body

Damn, exactly :( you can also hear her crying if you shut down the other sfx and listen very closely. She cries before she gets shattered too, probably implying that she isn’t able to fight it back. I hope we get to save not only Roxy but the rest of the animatronics in ruin. Although I think theres a really small chance in that happening
I think it's the same with Monty as well. Monty may have figured out earlier that he was being corrupted by Glitchtrap, and the reports of him hiding in Monty Golf instead of performing might be him trying to isolate himself so nobody gets hurt. Monty may also destroy stuff in a bid to try and focus the bloodlust of the Virus off of people and on to nonliving objects, eventually going to Staff Bots in desperation. To no avail, as Monty is almost completely subdued by the Virus during the main events of SB.
I felt so bad for her, she was clearly distressed through the entire game and her getting crushed was so sad. I empathize with the animatronics but I can also understand why Gregory did what he did, just unfortunate. I really wish it was touched on more in the game
In short, they had no reason to be so broken and ruined. If it wasn't for the fucking hack... how frustrating and painful would this situation be? I was forced to do things I didn't want to do, and my whole body was broken and twisted. Chica lost her beak, leaving her unable to eat her beloved pizza. Roxy lost her beautiful face and suffered a huge heartache. Monty lost his powerful leg and was left screaming all the time in agony. It's really very sad and sad.🥺😡

Would be fucking scary to see him lift that up and we having to run as a last resort with him being accidentally hit off by the ride he came in to the fight
Something that is mentioned occasionally is Monty's roll in his shattered jump scare. This is because it's something alligators do in real life!
It's called a Death Roll. They grab and roll in place over and over again. Highly recommend trying to find a video of it! (Snake Discovery has an alligator named Rex who did it in a video)

100%. Earlier these weeks I watched a documentary about crocodiles and snakes cases of attacks. Some of the victims survived, others not. Ouch. And it had the spinning move too.

The animations for the characters are all very nice
I love Roxy's more feral, predator sort of thing she has going on, with her wailing her arms around like crazy.
I really love how Monty has much more weight to his animations, his head bouncing up and down, And his steps being alot more heavy.Less feral but alot more brute.
And then Chica's much more sluggish, the way her head and eyelids twitch. Aswell her head always being slanted to the side.
They all have something unique, and it stands out amongst all of them.

True, and from the start to the end of Freddy's friends, more hack dealt on them. Roxy had little bit as she willed to help out, Monty had some more that drove him angry, and Chica simply refuse to help out and was hacked heavily.
Chica’s malfunctioning movements combined with how her voice lines sound less natural and more prerecorded and hue you can even hear her crying at times carries the implications that the virus corruption is imperfect on her or she is actively trying to resist it.
You should definitely take a look at Moon’s animations- they are very freaky! Shows just how unhinged he is!

These small details make me appreciate Steel Wool even more. I wonder how many of these small details will be in Ruin! Probably not as much as the base game since it's a DLC, but it'll still be interesting to see.

I feel that if Freddy hadn't been pushed off the bridge, yes he would have been able to take on the Nightmare StaffBots. But he was taken by surprise when he was pushed off the bridge from behind, and he hit the ground hard. Freddy was in pain and shock and fear, unable to get up and run or try to fight.
In the last second before the Nightmare StaffBots begin disassembling him, you can see him raise his hands defensively.
Everything about that fricking scene (especially Freddy screaming as he is ripped apart) kills me.

Chica: twitchy and the most broken and slightly unhinged
Monty: shows human behavior with the breathing and can be scared
Roxy: most confident, has the most facial expressions, can get curious or scared, gets smarter when blind hence the stance.
Freddy: twitchy when low on power, stiff walking and running, eyes are the only thing showing expressions
Definitely a good video because I never noticed these.
I think chica is twitching that much 'cause she got the most emotional damage by the Vanny hack. You can hear it that she cries when you are very near. She is the one with the most feeling about the other
My theory for why Glamrock Chica is the most glitchy and acts more robotic, is that I think she counts as an older animatronic if she’s been around since the Pizzaplex had Bonnie, and BEFORE Bonnie was even decommissioned. I also think that when Bonnie got destroyed easily and got more damage to the point where the staff had to get rid of him, could be because his model was old as well. Freddy doesn’t seem to have any glitchy-ness about him probably because he’s the main animatronic and needs more maintenance. Maybe Chica does too considering she eats leftover trash everywhere, but I think once she got infected by the glitchtrap virus she got a lot worse.
I think burntrap glitch Chica more because Chica is a kind and carring animatronic like Freddy. In the first cutescene when Freddy detected the virus, Chica stop her performance look at Freddy and after Freddy lyed down Chica seems check up what hapenned to Freddy. And maybe if she not hacked she will help Gregory

A few things I noticed about Monty: Firstly, in the opening cut scene of the game, when it shows Monty and Freddy dancing on stage, Monty's glasses fall down a bit and he swings his head up putting them back into place. (idk if you covered that already) And secondly, Monty's walk animation is very similar to Roxy's.
I honestly wish Monty's glasses bounced when he ran- it would've been so cool! (+derpy and heavy)
(Also kinda funny how Freddy's earring only moves in his in-pain walking animation)
I'm under the impression that Chica got hit with the Glitchtrap virus the hardest and was essentially rendered a zombie of the Pizzaplex. The little bit I've seen of peoples breakdowns and my own experiences with her in game and my self deep dives lead me to this conclusion. Chica was my favorite animatronic in FNAF anyway, but in Security Breach and eventually Ruin I feel sad and heartbroken over her destroyed state. Out of all of the animatronics that I saw in game she was always the least threatening. That's just my opinion though :\
I noticed in Monty's idle pose, he moves his head fast side to side just like how reptiles do (such as bearded dragon, geckos and alot more). Same thing when he's running after you
Another thing about shattered Monty that I'm surprised you missed, when he does his jumpscare, you can see how strong he still is when he throws himself and Gregory up when doing the deathroll, something that alligators do to kill there prey
It’s like she’s become “zombified” with how she has such a stumbly walk and twitches rapidly. She even hunches over and shuffles like a zombie when shattered.
Someone mentioned this before but Monty could of held up the bucket longer and pushed it up because he is extremely strong but it was the floor that gave out that’s why he hung on to the bucket after the floor collapsed
23:13 one other thing is that in the early version of this cutscene he has dialogue telling Gregory to run, and you can still make out that his mouth movements resemble "Gregory, run!"
I really think SB needed more time. Despite it being delayed multiple times, I really think maybe a an extra few months or maybe even a year would've done it good.
What it needed was to be downsized and to have a clear plan. They spent so much time on making a massive environment rather than on making sure the gameplay was unbuggy. I love the concept of the Pizzaplex, but it should have been more like portal, half life, or bioshock in execution. The sort of thing where you have to go through a dedicated path that the story takes you.
1:05 she sniffs the air when shes cross eyed because then she can't see, wolves can sniff humans out from miles away and can probably even sense emotion. or thats just a dog thing. OR maybe after she jumps she can actually see, shes just taking some time to sniff gregory out.
5:24 yes they are indeed special, and are probably sensitive to lazers since her eyes can see EVERYTHING. even through walls.

Now that ruin is out- I wonder if hide and seek was something Cassie did during her party, hence the curious and almost joyful expression on Roxy when hide checks?
Montgomery is actually incredibly strong. Even as a broken animatronic. To be honest, he could've been able to hold onto the bucket if the flooring didn't break below him (the floor only snapped from how much strength was on it).
Also to answer the "Could Gregory be able to push Monty and Roxy?", I say no. Like you said when Chica bangs at doors, she's eaten a lot so she's a lot more weaker. She's screwed up her body by herself, therefore she's probably way easier to push despite the food she stuffs in. But that is a lot of work pushing something like her, she'd still be considered heavy.
Imagine if the the animatronics had something in them that makes them simulate feeling pain, if they did then I don’t even care how evil they are from the glitch trap virus, I just feel bad for them and I don’t even know how they would survive becoming shattered
Also chica looks less robotic in the beginning of the game so and her voicelines being generic and robotic saying something and her leaned over appearance got me thinking she isn't in control also the fact in the beginning of the game she goes over to freddy when hes glitching out shows she had way more personality that when she is in game
FNaF security breach has my favorite little details. The game is SO beautiful and visually appealing. Great video, looking forward to the next one ❤️
i really feel like monty and roxy’s upgrades should have been swapped. roxy seems to use her claws more in her animations, like the scraping at the door, and it can be assumed that she could use them to fix her hair. monty’s eyes are protected by his sunglasses, which would make them more powerful than that of the other animatronic’s eyes.
While I figured Vanessa was closeup in the lost and found due to a lack of jaw animations, but come to think of it, pretty much everyone lacks that. Most move their mouth in jumpscares, but talking? It's either a recording like Phone Guy, Hand Unit or Tape Girl, or a cut to black like FNAF 6 or UCN. For SB, Monty's zooms on his eyes at rock and roll, Roxy a closed mouth growl, and Chica's turned away as she 'smells pizza!'. Glamrock Freddy is probably the only character whose jaw is seen moving with their speech like so many SFMs. Ooh wait, Roxy's self complimenting at the start.
Vanessa does have jaw animations. You can see them when she chastising Freddy at the beginning of the game
There are occasional moments where Monty Roxy or Chica can have you cornered or are just in front of you without spotting you and you can see their mouths move when they talk. The one example I have in mind is looking at a crowd of Giga Monties and watching them all talk over each other.
I really appreciate you looking in-depth into this kinda stuff, I’m a sucker for small details in Security Breach so this really is the perfect channel for me!

2. He must idol Sonic if he's planning on punching Gregory.

Something else to notice about Shattered Monty is that his pupils become reflective like an irl alligator. Like cat eyes As far as I know, none of the other animatronics have this, even when shattered :D
Watching Freddy get destroyed in slow mo is more devastating than watching him in real speed

Fact:
All of their jaws actually break, chica’s especially.
This is because none of their jaws are supposed to take bad attacks. When chica failed the testing phase, they probably gave Roxy, Monty or Freddy the better jaw since chicas wouldn’t be used a lot, leading to what happens now
Also, foxy was also discriminated.
They have bonnie bowling balls, but not foxy ones :((
Maybe because he sat in a cove most of the game and never sang or played with them,
Or because it’s called Bonnie Bowl and foxy has no themed room, shop or game
Montys face gets scraped exactly like nightmare foxy
Roxy actually acts like a real wolf more than a animatronic wolf because There are some real wolf intensifies in Roxy. She can sniff you out of your hiding spot. Mainly, She sniffs for Groegory's fear when Greogry is in a hiding spot when Roxy searches for him. Because animals can actually sense human's senses ( happy, sad , scared ,etc...) Also, when she gets shattered, her surrounding senses also become much stronger because, if Gregory is too close the Roxy, Gregory's position will be alarted to Roxy even thought Gregory approaches Roxy by crouching quietly. These makes Roxy more of a Real wolf to be honest. Actually, I dont get the point where a robot can smell a little kids fart and catch him like that.
Side notes: Chica is the only animatronic in the game that can rotate her head 360 degrees. She can do it even before getting shattered, we see that in the cutscene when we trap her in the crusher but she doesnt do it before getting shattered in gameplay. Also, when monty jumpscares you, we see his tail gets in front for 1 frame but actaully its not his tail, it his pp XD.

Gosh thank you for showcasing how much detail went into some of these animations- the artists behind them probably took days perfecting it, only for some of it to be barely noticeable 😭 glad it’s getting some recognition

It destroys me so much with the pain glamrock freddys been through i think he deserves more then this (ik all the animatronics have been through alot personally i think hes been through the most pain)
I just noticed that the shattered animatronics here resemble the withered animatronics from FNAF 2 but roxy resembles more withered bonnie (no eyes, ripped up face, NEARLY missing an arm, etc) more than withered Foxy
19:31 this could be the reason Gregory was able to push her and she didn't do anything other than grab his ankle, that or she could be the lightest of the glamrocks
I wish they had kept the original thing you take from Monty as his legs. Makes his jumping animation mean so much more when you think about how powerful his legs are.

7:53 reminds me of a C-start. In aquatic animals, bending their body in a C-shape allows them to go from stationary to lightning-fast. Fish are a good example of this, I don't know if alligators do it, but their tails are extremely powerful, which would also fit.
Thanks for showing the details we wouldn’t normally see in the actual game. Really interesting to see all the detail steel wool put into this game.

Don't know if anyone is reading this, but when you upgrade Freddy with Roxy's eyes you can see around the middle-right area a scratch. Possibly being caused from the crash.

0:48 my theory on why she sniffs the air is because when she jumps she gets dizzy or drunk in a way so she thinks she can smell air like how Snakes can taste air, so she believes She's a snake and not a wolf for a few seconds, when she becomes Stable/Sober she zones back into what she is, a Wolf
11:11 at first it seems like he's trying to keep it from falling and then he changes to trying to hold on to it but he seems to fail at holding on so that he doesn't fall, if that is the case i believe he failed at holding on to not fall because he was trying to keep it from falling at first so he didn't have a good enough grip
It's interesting how when the 3 glamrocks are being controlled by vanny their eyes turn red, but when its the staff bots disassembling freddy, their eyes are purpleish. Either that or its just the lighting in fazerblast
