Hi Jim, great review again. The JW looks really nice and you paid only 450 RM? That seems to be a real bargain. I think i would definitely stay there if in KL. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers from our holiday in Bali

Impressive room rate right? Just too bad the club lounge was closed when I visit, else it will be perfect stay!

Make sure plan to leave the hotel early as the traffic in the area is always busy after 9am.

Nice room. A+ on the soft pillows, but yeah, I prefer a more softer mattress.

@@Follow_ussg Yes. I love soft or semi soft pillows. I replace the pillows on my bed at least 2 times a year. I also prefer a semi soft mattress as well. Nothing to firm. Well...... :)

Nice room. . Nice hard bed 😁.
    Food ok.
The gym I liked. I mainly use free weights . Except for the lats . So I actually like this gym.
I do not like sift pillows if I had my way I would travel the world with the pillow I use at home nice n hard likje my mattress. .
    😁

      It's a hard bouncy bed~ hahaha
Gary you have to watch our Raffle Hotel video's gym! You will agree with me of the COMPLAINT!
I will not sleep on the pillow if the pillow is too soft, it will be uncomfortable to me to have the soft pillow.

@@Follow_ussg harder the better 😁. Maybe raffles customers are to rich to do gym . Hence the bad gym there ?

A hotel wouldn't install a small tub like that in the US. Not so much because westerners are generally taller but because we are usually a lot fatter. There's an old phrase here in America. "She's a Tub of Lard". That's a derogatory name that they once called obese people. Obesity is normalized in the US now and you don't hear it anymore. But I do like your cute tub and the room too. I love the lounge. The dark coziness of the booths was simple but elegant like an old fashioned cocktail bar lounge decades ago. Nice breakfast selection. In a foreign country I love having a hotel breakfast buffet because I can start my day off well fed so that I can later take my time exploring exotic new foods on streets and restuarants. But the breakfast has century egg. That's an exotic food item I've yet to try. Would it be better firstly experiencing the ugly egg at a special place other than a hotel buffet to get the best example of one or is the hotel's just as good ? 💟🤍💜💓🖤

We never heard of Tub of Lard before :p
      That is soooooo mean! hahaahaha
Very sad that the hotel closed the club lounge when I visit, I'm sure it will be much better if I can enjoy the club longe.
I'm sure you will be fine with the century egg, it just like harder jelly, I'd suggest you try in a hotel restaurant first, then you try in the traditional chinese restaurant.

No longer exciting to stay this hotel..nearby Jalan Imbi all torn down, just whack food at Pavillon... How about review Alila Bangsar?

    • @Follow_ussg
      @Follow_ussg  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Ya, most hotels in the area are old but some are still well maintained.
I prefer stay at Bonvoy and Accor hotels, I can get better offer there so never try Alila yet.
