I almost never read the lyrics for band maid songs. They’re good and uplifting usually if i do read them, but I mostly just enjoy the music itself. I consider the vocals to be another instrument that all mesh together into the song and nobody does it better than Band Maid for me.

Such a great reaction to an even greater song. “Blooming” is top tier Band Maid. And you have several monster hits under your belt already.
As you highlighted, the Maids are masterful at transitioning between song segments with both instrumentation and dynamics. This was a perfect example of that.

Kate is a Netflix movie. The also did the season two closing theme for the Netflix anime Kengan Ashura, 'Shambles'. You should do that one next. It rocks!
Kate was an odd flick but a neat opportunity for the band. They actually appear in the film, performing Choose Me
I've recently seen a couple of reactors who have said that it is a bit of a problem for them not knowing the lyrics for Band-Maid songs. Which is a pity, as their lyrics are probably the most meaningful that you are likely to hear. Other Band-Maid fans poo, poo these reactors, but the reality is, some people are lyrics fans, some, music fans and some, both. It's becoming a fact that some less musically competent bands than them are get more success because they sing in English. Personally I most enjoy a good melody, musically or sung, which Band-Maid are great at, so I'm happy.

The first successful All Female Japanese band in the rock and Metal arena was Show Ya from the 1980s.
Then no more. In 2005 Destrose formed also not successful but their former members went on to form other bands.
In 2008 Aldious formed and broke the curse . They had a hit so big that it busted the floodgates open and all the Female bands flooded through.
The Aldious song is Spirit Black.
All the modern all Female bands followed and borrowed much from them.
Aldious has 9 studio albums all all 9 made the Japan Billboard top 100 for the year that they came out.
They have wide range of genres that they play in. A Discography of about 80 songs, and there is not one bad song in it.
I would like to recommend that you check out
Aldious Dominator live Radiant A O East. If you like Band Maid, Lovebites, BabyMetal and Nemophilia, all of them exist because of Aldious.

Scandal, another female rock band, was formed in 2006, before Aldious.
@@Kissthetoad321 Same goes for Dazzle Vision Who formed in 2003. While not an all female band, Maiko's vocals put them on the map as pioneers of kawaii metal years before BabyMetal who showed up in 2010.
日本のロック系のバンドで初めて男性バンドと比較しても負けていないと評価されたバンドがShowYaで、
日本で初めて商業的に大きな成功を収めたのがプリンセスプリンセス（プリプリ）、プリプリを商業的な実績、売上を超える女性のみのバンドはまだ出ていません、それほど売れてた。
そしてこのプリプリの元メンバーが代表を務める音楽学校に通ってたのがアカネとMISA。バンメのリズム隊はプリプリから産まれたと言っても良いかもしれませんｗ
因みにBabyMetalは、アイドルグループの部活動として、アイドルにゴリゴリのメタルやらせたら面白いんじゃねって企画でやってたのに
凄腕演奏者のバッグバンド付けたら、何か売れちゃったってのがスタート。だから未だに全て事務所とコバメタル主導で作られてる。

@@Bodneyblue Ya, and we all know how long Misa put up with wearing a maid outfit... I heard it was May or March in 2014 she gave the hat to Akane. I don't recall.
