    kindly check the attached Plaxis 2D model for the secant pile.
    Following points have been considered during the preparation of model,
    Grade of concrete = M35
    Secant pile Dia = 1.2m
    Excavation depth = 20m
    Embedment depth = 20m
    Anchors = 300mm dia at 1.5 m c/c in longitudinal direction & 3.0m c/c in depth (Max prestress is 700 kN)
    Vehicular load = 24 kN/m (Kindly guide us if this load is enough considering NH-31A )
    Earthquake load = Not considered because as of now.

    Request you to guide us for making the model more realistic and error-free, solving the excavation issues (Excessive heaving effect) and for consideration of phreatic line.
    Also, please confirm to us the maximum permissible deflection allowed in the secant pile ; because as per CIRIA C580 it states that permissible deflection should be within 0.15% of embedded depth. i.e., 0.15% x 20m = 30 mm in our case.

    Sir what is the meaning of msf showing 1 for step 1 . Is it the minimum msf? Should we consider the end step result where the body collapse after the calculation steps for msf.

    In the stage construction phase, I can’t find the ‘’fully coupled flow deformation’’ I don’t know if my software is incomplete.
    I can only calculate this 3 parameters
    - Plastic
    - Consolidation
    - Safety
    I cant find
    - Dynamics
    - Fully coupled flow deformations
    - Dynamics with consolidation

      in plaxis, go to help, license configuration. there select everything and restart plaxis. That should do it.

    Hi Mohd, Thankyou for really informative video on slope stability analysis. I just want to confirm that did you activate the phreatic surface ( GWT) in analysis phases ?

    when i calculate process, i have error code 111. there's say "soil body seems colapse. please inspect result". what could i do sir?

      Soil body collapse means that the soil mass is already failed. Try to change the stiffness parameters such as Young Modulus. Hopefully it will be working for your model

    Sir nk tnye, masa plot slope tu..coordinate tu main letak random ke?dari mna sir tahu coordinate slope semua tu..Sebab saya ada value length and height of slope je ni.DOnt have idea how to get those coordinate

      yes, you can model the infiltration rate in plaxis 2D

    Fs is not 1.351 . you miss the part that 0-10 m on x diagram. These points equal to 1 .
    be careful. ıf you take the value 1.351 that means this slope is safety but its not
