    I have a Chessie t-shirt, and when I had to have surgery a few weeks ago, my husband bought me a copy of the CHessie storybook to cheer me up in the hospital. What a sweet, wholesome little story! My dad was a big railfan, and he'd have loved to see that book. But I'm 74 years old, and my dad is relaxing in that great caboose in the sky.

    My two interests: Waterfowl and trains. That goose was really trying to fight the train quite hard, these Canada Geese are quite aggressive so bs careful with any type of geese people!

    • @DarkVoidIII
      @DarkVoidIII 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That goose reminds me of one of our former roosters who tried to challenge our car. Car was coming around the driveway, rooster was standing there, not willing to budge. Until the moment the car tapped the rooster, that rooster just stood there, after it got lightly tapped, it made a shocked noise and wandered off in search of something easier to stand up to! If one goose had stopped to challenge the train, it would have quickly found out that tons of steel beat anything that goose has!

      4 tracks at the crossing, and, for the driver of the car, a blind curve to his right, and he thought that the Amtrak was the only train? Luckily for him, it was. With that kind of thinking, he's sure to formalize his Darwin award application sooner or later.

    • @louGriggs1944
      @louGriggs1944 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      She actually does have the traditional stacks that classic steamboats always have, but nowadays, they have to lower them to get under bridges. There is a bridge just ahead of her in the shot so the stacks are down for the bridge. If you look closely at the closeup of her, you can see the stacks laid down and pointing straight ahead. I've watched them lower them on the Mississippi Queen at Hannibal, MO before. It's impressive.

    Don't hit the honkers ..but who's doing the honking?
    I see those shrouded in secrecy build your own engines.
    UP and CN are still running a duo intracontinental team!
    CIT decided last minute to run off with NP...
    Nice daylight close up with the night time glow worm team! Lots of intricacies! The sci-fi crew team.
    A mini-convoy at the jct with intracontinental engines..BNSF & FERROMEX.
    CSX NP & CANDIAN PACIFIC are running together As well As NP Canadian pacific and is it CP rail?
    UP is running its special liner..
    A larger Convoy.
    Bnsf I feel had a special made wild wild west train...
    Conrail leading the way with NP...
    Neat Rail prep team construction. I saw china's recent wow not necessarily better bigger for sure both in man power and machine!
    A tanks vantage point veiwing in ?
    BNSF good optical visual vertigo two way.
    The best hello was a palm wave from a BNSF engineer in ?
