- The women's national volleyball team of Thailand (Thai: วอลเลย์บอลหญิงทีมชาติไทย) represents the Thailand in international volleyball competitions. It is managed by the Thailand Volleyball Association.
The team won a silver medal in the 2016 Montreux Masters, the best finish by any team outside the Americas, East Asia and Europe. Also, the team took a fourth-place finish in 2012 World Grand Prix. And the team took a bronze medal in Summer Universiade in two times, the best finish by any team outside the world.
In Asia, the team won a bronze medal in the Asian Games 2014. Also, the team won a gold medal in the Asian Championship in two times. And, the team won a gold medal in the Asian Cup Championship. The country has also participated in four World Championships, one World Cup, fourteen World Grand Prixs and two World Grand Champions Cup.

Now Kim Yeon-koung and other great players have retired, Korean women's volleyball is in the dark period. While Korean volleyball is showing such disappointing performances, such as slow speed, weak attack, and left focused attack, low-height Asian Thailand and Japan are surprising the world with fast speed, solid defense, perfect ball distribution and team organization. It is stunning.

The last match between China and Thailand was neck to neck and great match between two teams......Chinese had the tallest libero of both teams and equally good was Khun-Phim......Size does not matter, and what matters is agility and this Thai team had plenty of it......Another team member got injured in the last match and I saw in another video, that her lower back is strapped......Wishing her a speedy recovery.......The joints take a real beating for these women and one could see most of the players after having finished the match, have ice packs on their knee joints.....Kudos to the Thai team to make the country proud...
