Mate, you're a legend, I love your method, detail, simple preparation and how you cooked the chicken, and added onions and peppers, and top it off with the chutney.... Thank you for sharing, you should produce more content, underrated ...
Followed your recipe this evening. Did not have Citrus Powder nor Masala, but substituted a little curry powder and extra chili powder. This technique and recipe is AWESOME. 6 hours marinated, so I expect better next time. Total Respect!
2 tbsp of Kashmiri chilli (not hot, just colour) and 2 tbsp of tomato paste concentrate, and you can ditch the colouring! I would also recommend adding freshly 1tbsp ground (important) cardamom and 1tsp cumin - this will really elevate it. For myself, need to figure out a way to get to 400 degreesC on the Ooni Karu 12, then I will join you in the perfectly charred chicken pieces club! Edit - can you say what temps you got up to??
Nice vid, but..really shouldn’t use the same turner on raw chicken, then everything else despite high temps, it’s just not good practice..cross contamination is best avoided..!
have to agree with this. lovely looking food and skills on display but big no no using the same tongs on raw chicken and the bread. asking for campylobacter. Nice looking food though 😋
Nice. I have made lots of dishes in my Ooni. Best way to know if chickem, meat or fish is cooked is by poking it. When you lern this thete is no need for a thermometer
Silicone tongs are NOT safe for a oven like this. They can only tolerate up to 428 degrees Fahrenheit or 220 Celsius. A pizza oven will go to a 1000 F.
Good job bud, made it look easy! I've got to try that

Impressive versatility
Excellent video. Thanks for sharing.
Well done, thanks.
How ironic that it's raining in the UK :D (assuming this is where you are located). Thanks for the video anyway.
This is brilliant, thanks!
Next video: Use a rubber spatula instead of banging a spoon on the bowl and plate.
Made this recipe. It's the bomb! Maybe a bit less salt next time but wow, great. Thanks so much!

Might be citric acid powder here in US..

Looks banging mate!
Hi what flour did you use for naan please
How long did the chicken take to cook through ?
About 5mins in total. Depends how hot the oven is.
Excellent video. What temp for the ooni and how long for chicken to cook? Thanks.
turn the volume up mate1
What temp for the Ooni
As hot as you can. Around 500c is good.

Just remove the food coloring and your recipe is fantastic! 😄
CxsG90 thanks. Just grown up with red tikka doesn’t taste the some without it 😂

Don't put oil inside pizza oven. It will make it difficult to clean .
@@gadbaddas1 nope. Just few extra logs after your finished and will burn it all off. Come up brand new
@@jppro100 Ok. But why do people use a wire brush to clean pizza oven stone ?
ash all over your bread
Dude, silicone spatula! The scraping of metal on metal is so distracting from the recipe.

@@ChickenSamosaa don't think he's talking about using in the oven - he means scraping the metal bowl at the start when he mixes ingredients...
