When i first played Kingdom Hearts BBS, i thought Aqua was going to be a joke considering that through Terra and Vens stories, you rarely see her, but when i played her story, she became my fav character ever. She really surprised me.
@soraroxas1111 this is bbs final mix, which is part of the final mix series only released in Japan. They usually have more big boss fights, 1 or 2 more worlds, and more pieces of the story. There aren't any English versions released or planned to be released of the final mix games. :O
@sherlotta1022 Final mixes are international versions. They use english dialogue for all cutscenes, excluding new ones like this, use english or battles, and use japanese for text.

@hakim1ish This is the secret episode. By completing the game fully, you can play as Aqua in the Realm of Darkness as she fights Heartless. The final cutscene of this episode takes place 11 years later, in current time.
it's a command in-game which allows you to teleport in the back of your opponent if you use the block command right before being hit (Ventus has somewhat identical skill + counter)
Not to sound weird or anything, but after years of playing KH, Idk exactly why but the sound of heartless being destroyed fills me with joy ^^. Just the thought of pwning Heartless on an epic scale gets me all giddy lol Pacey, you've done Aqua Justice with the intense, haywire combat skills you've displayed. She's the only one of the three who actually whoops heartless ass and I love it! XD
@RainbowJesus1 ansem or xehanort´s heartless was the one who talked to sora in the cave but the one who was taking to sora at the beginning of KH1 cant be aqua because apparently the same voice was talking to ventus at the beggining of KH birth by sleep an in that moment aqua wasnt in the realm of darkness
Wow very impressive fighting it blew my mind i saw another vid of a person battling red eye and got there asked kicked then beat him the second time but got hurt way to much you just did what you had to do very impressivly and nice finish
@GaredMatthews No fire wheel because it doesn't have invincibility frames. You get hit easier, also make the battle harder. Normal cartwheel dodge is invincible.
@Patchworkdrum It's just a regular pureblood Heartless, like Darkside. They weren't created by anyone's hearts, but just born inside the RoD. There are many of them that reside in there, and many that we haven't seen before, like Red Eye. Also notice how there aren't any emblem Heartless? That's because Xehanort hasn't started his experiment yet.
Wow so this is really the final-final boss eh? Since Secret Episode (this) is unlocked after Final Episode which in turn is unlocked after beating all 3 Final Boss for each character.
@Geminilion100 He actualy created the emblem Heartless which actualy explains why the heartless werent a problem before. There's not that menny pureblood heartless around in the relm of light in anny KH but theres tons of emblem heartless who's numbers make them a threat.

I just noticed...by comparision, even the weak little Shadows in the Realm of Darkness are tough. Sora got the watered down versions of the Heartless to fight and Aqua got 'em all beefed up. Granted, she is a Keyblade Master...and this is Critical mode X3
Hunter of the Night (Red Eyes) is actually the only heartless battle in BBS, but, the mysterious figure could be a heartless, since his face is not shown.

The voice's identity is unknown, though my preferred speculation is that it was originally the voice of either Kingdom Hearts, the Keyblade or Light itself, and has now been retconned to be Ventus' talking to him from inside his own heart. But as I say that's completely baseless at the moment.
To add to this, by the end of Kingdom Hearts II, she still hasn't been freed from the Darkness. Although time does pass differently there (I can only assume it does, otherwise we can only feel worse to know she's been surviving by herself in the Darkness for over twelve years), we can only guess how long it's felt like she's been there, and without even being able to know what happened to her closest friends.
that has got to be the most terrifying heartless I have ever seen in kingdom hearts. just when you think all of the strongest boss class heartless are rampaging the worlds outside, Red Eye is in the RoD with Aqua. I can't help but wonder how many seconds it would take for Red Eye to destroy Donald and Goofy. lol!

@Ruisu07 Aqua is a Keyblade Master, and while Sora is pretty powerful, can you honestly say that with the powers that he has shown so far, he can defeat a deadly Heartless on it's home turf? And just to point out, Ansem is a Heartless, but something about this Hunter of the Dark tells me that Ansem is hardly the strongest of them, and most likely not the source of them either.
You know Lucifer, that cat boss that you fight as Ventus at the Castle of Dreams? I think Red Eyes is Lucifer's Heartless because of it's jumping and pouncing and Aqua arriving at Castle of Dreams in the Realm of Darkness.
In my mind, I believe that this heartless is the same one that was in the Beast's Castle. My theory is that when certain high ranking heartless like the one in this video leave the dark realm, they become weaker and may change their appearance to maintain themselves because the darkness isn't strong outside their realm.
Aqua walks a little farther down the path that thing was blocking and finds herself at the Castle of Dreams (Cinderellas world) then more clips happen from every kh game that were never seen before in any of them, so they might be to another another game.
I only played the US version of KH BBS, what other additional story scenes have been added or, what are the new secret episodes, everything that I'm missing from the Final Mix version??? :(
@TheMessi92 It's not the same Heartless, otherwise it would make a rather dissapointing scret final boss, wouldn't it? It's actually quite similar to alot of heartles other then Dark Thorn(Beast's castle boss), namely the Dark Ball heartless.
@sinclairion Only pureblood Heartless come from here(The ones without the Heartless insignia). All of the other ones were created either from the Heartless machines in Hollow Bastion or those that lost their hearts to the darkness.

@RydazRuff The reason for him being supreme leader is one he is strong and the major reason which is the only heartless with intellect allowing him to have dominion over ths heartless im sure the real lord of the heartless exist but ansem is the supreme lord because he is the only one eirh brain well at least was he is dead now

The commands are in Japanese, the only reason she talks in English is because you can change that in the settings. Any English you see is common enough for any language to understand.
Oh, by the way, I know Japanese, I can trans. what Aqua says when she meets the Read Eyes Heartless. "This creature is not an Unversed. It's a resident of the Realm of Darkness."
@LexKenester I guess hes yet to be reviled..He could be the collective minds of the heartless all together..or he could be one of the ancients that have existed ever since the worlds were created. Either way The Key they make obvious to this game is that without Darkness, there can be no Light. As long as one exists so shall the other..maybe the whole reason he doesnt participate directly is because hes smarter,he understands the need for this balance,who knows? He might have even helped Sora.
it watches you...when its not cloaked in darkness it still follows you. this heartless was specialy made for the game it isnt like the other bosses...kool
Just think about this. Aqua is completely alone, with no hope of returning. Now, she comes across these... things. They aren't Unversed, that much is clear. Nothing else is evident except that they want her dead. With no hope of rescue and nothing but a Keyblade she has to fight against the countless hordes of darkness. I don't think I've ever felt more sorry for a video game character.
That's Lucifer's Heartless, notice the ears, the jumping all around, the tail, the claws, the feline movements, and if you watch closely his skin looks like covered with hair. If you check the 4/4 part you'll see that this is what will happen After the destruction of the world of Cinderella by the darkness.

I think it was in the Ansem reports somthing about heartless he artificialy created being branded with an emblum.

The realm of darkness looks like a pretty nice place when you're not being swarmed by heartless.

if u pause at 4:49 and 4:50 u can see keyblades in it or made it. i think that thats the darkness in some keyblade masters

these red eyes are creeping me out! and I hate not being able to see who or what attacks me espeacially from where it attacks. but still awesome!

interesting that its afterimages are all solid red, blue and green, considering those are the three colors of light.

Honestly, I must say, aside from Kurt Ziza, this heartless boss has probably the best design yet. Heck, it might even have the best AI.

For some reason, I think he may be Vanitas' heartless.
Those heartless can't handle the almighty Aqua(pacey, really). And that was a pretty colorful battle for a heartless, even if it is a boss.
