@Aldarionz9 Yes, some of the colonists were known as the pilgrims. The pilgrims came over in 1620. Many other people came over who were not. The Revolutionary War was not fought until 1775-1783. Not even the founders were pilgrims by then, and many of the founders (including John Adams and Thomas Jefferson) did not consider themselves Christian. There are many documents written by the founding father that say they were _not_ establishing this as a Christian (or Judeo-Christian) country. Despite the claims of Christian Nationalists who would like history to be different, the US was founded as a _secular_ nation.
Why are they doing this now. I would not want my children to learn religion in a public school. It is my job to teach my children at home and at church. Because America is very diverse in spirituality. One size does not fit all. Plus it's a waste of time and money to print posters. Because children have their eyes on their phones.
