John doesn’t even have to play to make a very interesting video. He’s a deep thinker and gets down to the nitty gritty about music, Guitars and writing songs. I could just listen to interviews with him as he goes off on these tangents and be totally satisfied at the end wanting more videos. I just couldn't agree more and relate to each and every word he has just said. Waiting for magic to happen.
I feel like John has a genuine approach to music a DJ songwriting that a lot of other artists don’t know how to express or even bother to do so. He has a very refreshing appeal. I think that’s why I’m binge watching his interviews
He has little stress, or rather doesn't let it get to him if he has it, and knows the world can be manipulated and bent. This keeps you young for real. Meditation works too, but he is just lucky he figured out a secret to life early and had the drive and ego to use it 😂
Everything he said is exactly right. I frequently write lyrics then write melodies then notice a pair of melody and lyrics that go together. I had a song written for months and I heart a chord progression and instantly knew it matched the lyrics of that one song I'd written. I'd say, don't throw out everything you've written. You don't need a finished product right away; keep it and maybe come back to it later. If it was good enough you won't forget it and the right melody will make you remember the right lyrics
