Keith, I’d love to see a video on the gantry build. It is a great idea for a small tight shop. Very smart. Did you use bearings or a bronze sleeve for the swivel?
I did a video on it in the past, you will just have to hit the old arcives. The pipe machined inside to fit just right and lubed with old harry wheel bearing greese.
Those floor lines: A small trench with a floor plate or a flattened (thinned box shape) cable might work to avoid a big bump for the gantry crane use. Great video.
Have you thought to possibly vacuum sealing the small tools to help protect them for the trip. Vacuum seal bags also give some shock protection by their nature. Thanks.

@@KeithFenner I teach Farmers sons welding when I am doing repairs in their work shops. Their Dads can't weld so I spend time on the job teaching prep and run a hot weld. The time goes on the invoice. The short cuts they just have to watch and keep up
