this is like a new genre of game altogether. I'd probably call it a Non-Euclidian Horror; using non-euclidian geometry to create an objective reality that is completely unpredictable, unknowable and immaterial. It doesn't have the trademarks of traditional horror like jump scares, slashers, scary villains- knowing that you can't trust what is directly in front of you is SO unsettling, all of the unexpected and unexplained things make it even more so. It's a very quiet and insidious kind of horror lurking just beneath what you can see, just out of sight but you can always feel it. you expect reality to behave in a certain way and when you see things you can't explain it can make the hairs stand up on the back of your neck. I have no idea how they managed to code this but it really is a very special and unique game that could open a whole new genre of reality-bending, unsettling stories. I look forward to seeing the amazing things people can pull off using this in the future!

Basically you look into a room that's actually located in a different area on the map and when you enter it you get teleported there. So it just looks like it's inside the house.

The “sideways perspective” part, when you walked through the door that was changing the gravity and you were then walking on the part of what you saw as sideways prior to going through the door.
For the house thing, I think it's a case of the portal (the door itself is likely just a smooth portal) is getting bigger and smaller based on your actions, and scales you according to said portal. This is just a first impressions me seeing this game for the first time kinda thing.
I knew Drae would get stuck at that apple part just like me. I'm so happy to see I was right and wasn't the only one who suffered at that simple solution.
All I keep thinking is if they make this into a combat game. People pop thing in and out to hide and run away. Heck a hide and seek game would be grate too!! Please more episodes if they have more to show
At the very end of the level at the end of this episode, I made the house just big enough for me to go through, but not enough to come back or go through the elevator and then I think I restarted the level instead of loading the checkpoint.
These shoulda been 30 minute episodes imo. The way Smii7y made his Superliminal content was preferable, as it's hard to stay invested in this broken/confusing story across a few weeks of episode releases. I don't feel particularly inclined to watch these anymore, even though I generally love your content. It's like you don't know when to make a game into a series vs a long one-off episode, and even when a game IS a series from you, it never seems to last more than 2-3 episodes (obviously this is an exception since its such a short game)
