Hey! Thanks for watching can you spot the humongous editing error I did? It's very obvious when you see it ! And if you want more here is the first half of September video: th-cam.com/video/Ae-uRidEx_s/w-d-xo.html There might be two games in here who dont have shooting but SSSHHHH!!
Iron Meat looks cool as heck. When I was a kid I loved a game called DOOM TROOPERS on my Super Nintendo I beat in couch co-op with my buddy Another indie that reminds me of this game is HUNTDOWN
I do not recommend this garbage to anyone. This project is from the developers Quantum Error is a terrible game in every aspect, but for some reason the developers were happy with their game, which had an intriguing first trailer and a game that is completely different from the first trailer. Now they're making a shooter that looks like it was put together from random assets on the UE engine. It looks bad and plays badly.
thought so also, the game sucks, huge empty levels, buggy '' glory kills '', lacks enemy variety, the level themes are repetitive as hell, only good thing is the metal OST, but even that gets repetitive after a while, it's sad, i had big expectations for that game since it was announced
@@88VLEXXI hate most game "metal" soundtracks as it is usually nowhere near heavy enough or its that generic "melodic metal" that seems to be popular for some reason
The visual style of the menus and fonts of Witchfire is perfect for me. Reminds me of the way Mortal Shell approached it's menus and item descriptions. And i gotta tell ya, i love an effective ball lightning spell. Sometimes they go too fast but spells like that, the BFG in Doom and the BFG analogue in Wolfenstein: TNC travel at nice rates of speed. Letting their deadly rays do some extreme damage to your enemies!
WitchFire is pretty good so far! I might need it on Steam as well just to show all my Steam Friends that I play it and they should too! Solo Extraction Shooter with Rogue Lite Mechanics on each run! The zones, weapons and skills work Very Well ^^ (at least the parts that is open to us who bought it early on Epic) BorrowHelen! Never heard of it!! Finally - must check this out For Sure! GZD 4 Lyfe! Those other games also definitely look like Games!
WItchfire is one of few games that I'll play it for the graphics no matter what people say of the gameplay. It looks so damn good, love the darkfantasy and more modern painkiller graphics "drool" GZDOOM! GZDOOM! GZDOOM!
As I get older, the more I start to gravitate back towards the retro side of things. So I am crazy excited for Iron Meat! Of all the games on the list, this one just makes my eyes light up. Been waiting patiently for it ever since the demo, so I think I know what the first thing I’ll be buying with my September pay packet will be!
But there's no way a normal person could walk around with a M2 ".50 cal" machine gun. They weight a ton and not even the strongest soldiers fire it without a mount
In videogames any normal person secretly has a t-shirt with an "S" under the jacket. Which is why Simon Buckner dual-wielding two Maxims (Vickers'?) always looked way more impressive to me than any "gun" made for "Doomslayer".
You didn't break your promise with having the second half of September filled with goods. Wonder what else we will get this year. It's already too much to play and that is good.
Yeah, I've been waiting for Witchfire to drop on Steam as well. No clue if I'll actually be able to play as my hardware (I think at least) has been acting up as of late, but I think I'll just grab it anyway ;) Edit: And Lorn's Lure as well. I've tried the demo and am not sure if it is really for me, but Hatch was a decent experience as well. And this one looks even more interesting.
Played Iron Meat demo since earliest versions. Overall, it's a good game at average level. With the genre giants like Valfaris and Huntdown - it really can't compete, but it has its own little cozy spot lower on the ladder. The gameplay is as simplistic as Contra, again - don't expect things you get to do in Valfaris, let alone Metroid or even E-Swat or Shinobi games (both 16bit). It's essentially a basic shmup, but not one as creative or ambitious as Eliminate Down, for example. You just run left to right, shoot and get to blow up a lot of stuff with a standard array of 16bit weaponry and enemies that we've seen all before, - but it looks good, most of it. Bossfights are okay if samey... Artwork ranges down from very impressive, almost Huntdown-level (and sometimes even better!) to inexplicably strange cartoony things that came straight out of Donkey Kong (i hope they are placeholders). Some background sections are a little too repetitive, even when compared to the 16bit era. Sound design (something i often complain about) is good, and music while unremarkable - but is very suitable for the action. Once the art-direction becomes consistent - it will improve the game's atmosphere significantly. From gameplay issues - the control is a little stiff, for example - you can't change direction while firing prone. Jumping down a platform is not always possible and the traditional for 16bit platformers climbing jump (jump+up) does not exist here, limiting mobility. A double jump and more verticality could've done this game a big favor, but it isn't here either. All in all, a solid mid-tier game to further your action-platformer collection, however - don't expect anything special to climb to the top ranks. Average, not more nor less.
@@ZlimBratSki It's a good little game to play, but getting to know the masterpieces like Valfaris - would instantly broaden the horizons of what the genre is truly capable of.
Never thought I'd say goodbye to Xbox but PC gaming with a Xbox controller has me hooked. Tried Steam when it first came out and had nothing but problems. Glad I tried it again a few years ago, been golden. And this is playing on a $500.00 laptop, going to be much better when I get a new budget AMD 8000 Series GPU or Nvidia 5060 GPU PC next year. I likes my inexpensive PC's. Many of these games look promising.
Zlim I wanna say that I don’t really watch your videos anymore as I’ve been extremely burnt out of shooter games the last few months but it makes me very happy to see how far you’ve come in this community. I’m glad I got to be a part of the adventure thus far and I’m excited to see what your future holds!

IIRC, his friends came up with the nickname Slim; what if they parodied his pronunciation and changed it to Zlim?! Otherwise, it's been lowkey bothering me for ages LMAO and I can't figure it out. Where is the truth!!!
The truth is hidden out there somewhere xD But the reason for my pronunciation I think harken back to how Swedes say Z, it's "Seta" it has that ssss and that's why I bring it to the world of English, that's my theory but Slim - Zlim that's a mystery that needs further digging :D

Super sad that most of these cool, unique Indie games only hit Steam.. as a console peasant you're really left behind 💀 At this point i'm just waiting for Delta Force, as that atleast comes to consoles in 2025.
