Rarely would Sir Lumumba finish his speech without mentioning Kwame Nkrumah or Julius Nyerere. These men carried a different spirit concerning Africa. God bless you Sir, for your enlightenment.

Professor Lumumba, I have never heard anyone speak with such clearity, honesty, understanding, passion, compassion, neutrality, knowledge of history, such respect for all parties involved, such an overview… I am in awe of you, like I was in awe of Martin Luther King, John F. Kennedy. You give me hope. I am a 68 year old Dutch woman and I am spellbound by you. Once you have done leading Africa to unity, mutual respect, strenght, self-esteem, forgive me if I miss out any positive adjectives that apply to a positive, strong , healthy and assertive development of Africa, would you consider to be a world leader? For me you already are.

So true, old people hold power over the world. God took the youth into the promised land because the elderly were set into their ways of the world and fear ruled over them. God needed and still needs kingdom warriors to fight His battle for souls.

The only leader we did not have in Kenya. Prof Lumumba, you remind me of late Chris Hani who led revolution to clinch power in South Africa in 80s and 90s, a young man barely 30 organized freedom fighters trained in Zambia and sent to liberate the apartheid South Africa.

He speaks and provides so much references to his discourse that anyone who understands can not dispute what he brings out. The call for some African leaders to make the necessary changes is irrefutable.
The point in my view is most African leaders not just politicians are inward looking.

Thank you Sir, love from South Africa.... I have a 4 year old and 2 year old I just cannot imagine what the next 15 years will be for them just by looking at the choices that my own governement are making for the country and even more so the whole leadership of Africa. So I am thinking hard as a 43 year old to move them to overseas (it is hard breaking I love my country and I love my continent). Hopefully one day this continent will be a joyful place to dwell in.

Hi Siyabonga, I hear you. Wish you and I decide and determine to be the change our little ones should experience. Let's determine to speak, act, engage the young with what SHOULD be, since all they observe is what SHOULDN'T. Together, Africa in next ten twenty years shall be what we long it to be....WE are that change we're hoping for.

I had to listen to this at 1.5 speed in order to follow it but it's brilliant with a few reservations. The revolutions of today look nothing like those of yesterday. The Kenyan youth revolution is in full gear it just isn't in the tarmac streets but in virtual space. It is in the algorithms, the AI powered state capture that is coming like a tsunami. The kids know how to run the coming world. The older generation will not see it until they have lost the game.
