I just found you! Awsome guitar and triple awsome playing with talent! You have one more fan.(a senior with young ears) ha ha! Thanks, you sound good here in western Canada and everywhere else for that matter! Thankyou Calum 😎👍🎸🎶
Greetings, Stonebridge Guitars! I can't quite say how in love with your instruments I am. I'm a relatively amateur guitar player, though I believe that I one day may be worthy of a guitar such as a baritone Furch like the one in this video.
Hey Tracen! Keep working at it! I started playing guitar 6 years ago, worked my butt off, and eventually became a proud member of the Stonebridge artist family. When I first came across them, I thought to myself, "I'll never be good enough to have one," yet here I am with two lovely Stonebridges in my quiver! Have you had a chance to try one in person?
LOVE this song!!! I'd like to try playing it. Emphasize the word, "try". What's your tuning? I know it's a baritone and I don't have one yet. What would be the equivalent tuning with a standard guitar? DADGAD? EADGAD? Or some other kind?
A great guitar player can make an average guitar sound pretty good. Calum is so good, and the guitar sounds great. I'd like to hear an average player demo the same model guitar.
Hello, I'm definitely interested in purchasing one of your guitars. Is there any way I can try out one out before I buy from an online store/distributor? I live about an hour from Kitchener, ON. Let me know if it could be a possibility. Thanks in advance!
+snowcoveredtracks Yes, please visit our dealer Brickhouse Guitars in Kitchener, ON. Their email is sales@brickhouseguitars.com. They will be happy to serve you. Thanks.
Notice at :46 there is an "F" on the head stock. That is because the company that makes Stonebridge is Furch. But note at the beginning he says "Stonebridge built it". Stonebridge doesnt build anything. They are a Canadian company that decided to market the Furch guitar under the name "Stonebridge". Folks, listen up. Furch guitars are so far ahead of others in terms of music and build it aint funny. Definitely worth the time to look at.
Just so I understand this correctly, Stonebridge and Furch guitars are exactly the same but only denotes where the guitar is sold? So, Stonebridges are Furch guitars sold in North America, and Furch is simply Furch when sold other places? There's no difference in quality between the two? Thanks!
Reamus Yes, Stonebridge and Furch guitars are both made at the Furch factory in Czech Rep. Stonebridge Guitars International, that's us, are the distributor of both Stonebridge and Furch in North America. There is absolutely zero difference in quality between the two.
Yes Rhodesian Ridgeback Puppies, you are correct. The Furch factory builds all Stonebridge guitars. Every Stonebridge guitar has a label inside that describes this.

I have to know... what are you using for nails? My natural nails are prone to splitting and breaking. I've tried UV builder gel, but no matter how careful I am, they eventually end up peeling; they just don't last that long. When you finally pull them off, they tend to take some nail surface with them leaving your natural nails thin and weak... I'm thinking of getting a baritone 6 string (basically, at 65, I don't have the vocal range anymore :) Recommendations?
I purchased a 6 string baritone about 5 months ago.. ever since the day I brought it home, I've been mesmerized by the sounds it produces and the vibration it generates against my torso. I'd wanted a baritone for 15+ years, but was always afraid I wouldn't play one enough to justify buying one. I ended up ordering a new Alvarez ABT60E for $500 through my local guitar store. It has a a Sitka Spruce gloss top, beautifully patterned Mahogany back & sides with a satin finish, and a Rosewood fretboard. It's a large jumbo body with a 26.5"-ish scale length (I can't remember its exact measurement). Equipped with a decent pick-up, I can blend between the piezo and the internal microphone. The baritone is my least expensive guitar (I've got a Taylor, all-Koa Martin, Rosewood Breedlove, and a few others), yet I still find myself picking it up more often than the rest and easily getting lost for a couple hours listening to it's thunderous low end, and almost intoxicating overtones. One day I'd love to have enough money saved up to buy a much nicer 6 string baritone, but the Alvarez's playability and sound has surprised me. Honestly, I've never played or heard a standard Alvarez acoustic I enjoyed.. at that includes a handful of their higher-end models. I did lower the action a bit on my baritone, but with the low B string being a .70, they don't play as easily as a standard acoustic. The intonation was very close from the factory.. with a couple small adjustments to the bridge, it's now spot on. The factory turners have worked perfectly. I use Elixir Nanoweb Baritone strings and they seem to really make the most of the guitar's volume and sustain capabilities. I looked into Taylor's 6 string baritones a while back. If I remember correctly, they offer a 300 series (Spruce top, Sapele back/sides) for a decent price, and I think a 500 (mahogany) and 600 (maple) series acoustic baritone. I hope this helps. Good luck on your search!

@@Rafal_Soboczynski So true! Four years later, and I am still picturing this person as a stalker, with thick glasses, wearing jean shorts, and cheap rubber rain boots....though it's not raining. (Who TF wears jean shorts, btw? Slightly effeminate yet style-retarded chubby midwest soccer-dads, that's who.)
I feel like the sound of this guitar just reached out and hugged me. Beautiful tone, beautiful composition.
Words cannot describe your gift.

Oh man! That baritone sound is heavenly! Dare I say, it makes this song sound even better.
I have a Stonebrige G23CR-C that is just incredible!
Love that tune!! If you live in California, central Santa Barbara Guitar Bar has Furch guitar. Excellent guitars....
Are Stonebridge Guitars backordered 3 years in North America? That is incredible that the prize took that long to be awarded, I like this tune.

I have, a neighbor of mine has one, and he let me play it. They're amazing instruments!
Wow! What kind does he have? I wish I had a neighbor who had one! I suppose, now I'm that neighbor ...
Hahaha, yes! All I know is that it is an extended scale baritone.
Thanks Tracen.
This is just a stupidly amazing song. I have to learn it. Congrats on getting the new guitar!

Nice jacket Calum 🙂
Calum is officially on death row....cuz he just murdered “12:35”. That must be his time of execution. 11 dislike... what gives? Who are the wise guys?
And now it's broken... Thank you Air Canada.
I cannot say enough about these guitars for under a 1000 bucks you cannot find anything better.
Under $1000? Where did you get that price?
Sorry, but Stonebridge/Furch are high end guitars, beautifully made worthy of $2000 + price range and that's the low end.
A great guitar player can make an average guitar sound pretty good. Calum is so good, and the guitar sounds great.
I'd like to hear an average player demo the same model guitar.
I'm from Brazil. How can I do to purchase one of these products in South America?
This song is 12:34!
what's the difference between Stonebridge and Furch?
What is the pickup on that guitar?...anybody knows?...

how do i learn this type of guitar playing? It's amazing
U start learning this type of guitar playing
You take classical guitar lessons and then the rest will follow.
look into different types of open tunings on the guitar and get really good with your fingers.

Never mind. Just bought the tab :)
It's funny that he starts playing at 1:23
Does anybody know which pickup he's using in the soundhole of this guitar?
It's a Mi-Si (they're really cool pickups). Calum also uses LR Baggs and a K&K Trinity system. All really great live sound!
I like it better than the plugged official version
What sound?
Manicure game on point!
The intro has a slight Ebon Coast vibe to it.
what is the name of this song?
12:34
Please share the Love of the Son of God. Please write His Words in your heart, and share them. Please Forgive and Pray for everyone. Immanuel, God with us...
sounds so lush *____*
D G D F# A D for standard guitar.
you gonna need a scratch plate mate !!
if this guitar insisted a lot maybe i would accept keeping it
12:34!
If I were a girl I would've taken note at 0:59 "Really dynamic player"
the guitar isnt as sexy as you calum...
the comment is creepy in itself, but looking at your profile pic just takes it over the top.

Lovely sounding guitar good picking but I cant stand this tune its boring
lol
This hurts my ears. The percussive slapping is irritating.
Noisy guitar -- string clicks, clacks, tics, and scrapes all over the place.
+fartwrangler He's playing it that way. It's not the guitar, it's how he wrote the song
+HarshReviews If you say so. To me it sounds like the action is set way too low for the gauge of strings being used.
Sounds like a percussive player backing the man up with nice rhythm but it is all just him and that guitar....purrfect
