George Whitty is one of the best musicians I have ever heard in my life... since many years ago I have the fortune to know about his talent and I just have to say he is from another world!!! Virtuous execution and creativity!! SUPERB ARTIST!!
George's solo here is off the chain!💥 Beautiful trio!❤
Dare I say...Right ⬆️☝🏽up there with Oscar Peterson 🎹🎹🎹
Excellent. High caliber. Superb. Very stimulating and enjoyable! Tom B. has long been one of my favorite percussive rhythm generators.
Astonishing musicianship by all three. Whitty is masterful on keys, Brechtlein is all ears and excitement, and Fierabracci is a groovathon bad ass.
You know what I really like about Ric's playing, is you can sing everything he plays. Amazing player. Damn, that's some good shit.
I wish I never heard this, so I could hear it again.
Ric Fierabracci and Friends...is amazing...!!! i love this song..!! awesomeeeeeeeeeeee
Oh yeah! Tom Brechtlein, the most underrated drummer ever.
That's for sure...His version is better than Dave Weckl and that's saying alot....
I think Tom ought to upload far more videos of his incredible playing. He is, as deet said, indeed "the most underrated drummer ever." Let's here more of him!
So is Ric on bass. Excellent bass player.
I had the pleasure of meeting Ric Fierabracci last year. Not only is he a fantastic musician but he's generous in spirit. encouraging and humble. Those things don't often go together. If you get a chance to see him then go! You won't be disappointed.
Thank you Mister Whitty ... what a pleasure to have these musicians ! A famous trio i think !
Very musical drumming, always with perfect time and great groove. Thank´s Tom, such a inspiration.
No matter how many times I hear this. Just. WOW!
George Witty's hands are amazing to watch, he moves without missing a beat. Those 16th note lines are insane!
Great trio..Fantastic drummer as always. Such finesse and fluidity. The double kick end lick at 6:42 is amazing (as well as all the others).. Great music
I'm not a jazz player or enthusiast. But watched the whole thing. These guys are masters of time. And that is killer tone on the drum kit.
fantastic jam......everyone is killing it....and...Classic Fierabracci......taste.....tone....and chops.....
Totally badass..!! Great tune, great playing, great sound..! Love how Ric "channels" Anthony Jackson @3:24 for a killer B string passage, and what a solo,,super musical...Tom, so tasty @6:05 and what was THAT @ 6:43 !! George..well what can one say..able to blow on the level of a Brecker, Stern and the like yet sound like himself..awesome..
Masterpiece of a MASTER TRIO ! Absolutelly one of my favorite tracks since years. Avesome fusion sound! I have to listen and see them frequently.
And it's nice that the bass and keyboards can go direct so there's no need for baffles..The better to see each other ...
The pianist is a monster..killing me
Tom, George and Ric congrats that is just music at its best. I liked it
Phenomenal musicin keyboardist!
Beautiful Music George. Awesome

Its Good to see you back on the scene Man and keep that
Beautiful Music Coming Peace.
@@holygeneration7 Hi, Kim. to answer your question from my observation
He's been off the scene for maybe
15 years but he's played with the Brecker Brother's back in the late 80's going into the 90's the Brecker
Brothers was thee only group I've
Seen George perform with I'm quite shure he's played with countless other professional names in thee industry as well
The Brecker Brothers just stick
out to me because that was the
group i first saw George perform
With...
Monsters they are... everyone of them! And an excellent recording... thanks for posting!
Thank you George very inspiring composition, greetings from Greece.GREAT TRIO.MORE PLEASE!
Absolute wizard on the kit, freaking phenomenal 💯
Absolutely brilliant . great musicians. Love the bass player!
Soy fan de este trio ! Ya escuche este video 20 veces !
I had not seen Tom Brechtlein in years! In fact I last remember him from Chick Corea's instructional videos. Matched grip looks good but he did rock the traditional grip back in the day :) Most importantly, his solo was very fresh, so glad to see see him at the top of his game.
Holy SHIT !!!
Incredible. Yeah Tom !
That was/is amazing! Great playing all around, and Tom Brechtlein sounding particularly relaxed and flowing. ;)
Ric. You are my favourite bass player I think!
Extraordinario trabajo. Un gran abrazo desde El Salvador, para los amantes del genero mas hermoso de la musica, el Jazz..
PS: Rick Fierabracci is one of the best bass players around. I started to hear some Patitucci and Will Lee lines here and there... but he stands firm on his own.
First thought was: "Dirty loops 20 years later..." Great job!
Absolute knock out. First rate playing from these three professionals. Thanks for the upload! Firmly in my favoutites...
This is the best of the best... jazz fusion forever!
brilliant indeed!!!!...all instruments sound that great too....how cool to can watch this kind of Live Studio sessions!!!!....cheers!!....and thanx George
Aaah, there's still music being made. Awesome!
Oh my goodness absolutely awesome music. Thank you for sharing it.
A very very fresh, clear music! New sound.
great mood in 3/4!
You kill guys
killer! that snare sound though...pretty abrasive on the ears.
Damn, George! This slays me every time I revisit it! Epic playing! :)
that is some BAD ASS stuff, every aspect of it is fantastic--groove, feel, creativity, sounds, veal compote, rockfish sushi!!
Great trio here.
The silence at the end of this masterpiece was epic 😎
Keep it going guys... we need more music like this!
Thanks, George. I enjoied the version with Dave Weckl, but this sounded better. Great team playing!
Great, specially the free chord progression choice is fabulous...
Great technique. Tom Brechtlein is also guesting with the 25th Street Band. Jazzira - 25th Street Band
awesome! all of you have mad skill!
Excellent!
1:16 this synth sound reminds me of Tom Scott's Lyricon (e.g. in the Tony Williams album called "The Joy of Flying"). AND THIS IS GREAT.
Excelente. Ich liebe diese Musik
Masters!!! Saludos desde La Argentina
This sounds downright amazing.
Awesome jam, love it!
Wow amazing snare groove
Now that's some really good fusion!
Most EXCELLENT, dudes!! :)
these guys are awesome!
Georges switching of keyboards while soloing. The brainpower that would take. Damn
I discovered George from the Brecker Brothers. There's a video out there I can't recall, but he just absolutely kills it during his solo!
+Jonp It's the Brecker Brothers live from Barcelona and it's here in full on TH-cam. Mike Stern, Dennis Chambers and Jame Genus in what I think may be the most amazing live fusion band ever. Mike Sterns solo in Spherical is the best I've seen him play. Not to mention the mother f'n Brecker Brothers!
robram818 That would be it. Thanks!
above and below ..
@r0kas dirty loops can only 'dream' of getting to this level.
absolutely cool.
That’s wonderful man
Beautiful
Very impressive!
grandi tutti davvero ric f. il tuo timbro e sempre fantastico VOTO 10+
Please post more!
Absolutely! Music is about communication so it is easier when you can see each other.
Sick Bass solo
OMG:
Who is the Noob/Moron who Dislikes (1) this......?
Can't believe that one doesn't recognize the "intelligence" and "high-end skills" of these fine musicians.....
This is G R E A T.
Love this.
xXx
Fantastic!!
Fenomenal!!!
Sounds great fellas !!! #A1
Amazing!
Epic all the way around ! does the keyboardist have 2 brains ? Unreal
Freakin' awesome. Wow.
FANTASTIC!!!
just awesome !!!!!!!!
brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!
absolutely superbs
ahh really enjoy this
Que genial es esto!!!!!!
whoaa .. this is sick ..
Love it!
Wonderful
fantastic
Recording "live" in the studio... you just can't beat it imho. The groove, communication, dynamics etc. just can't be done the same with layer upon layer...
I love it!:)
Brechlin is playing with more loose stick grip, he also use more rims and head together in same stroke i think it gives a more open sound.
Weckls weakest point is he sometimes plays it to perfect and stays in his perfect zone :-)
But nice to hear two top drummers in the same number with different sound and playstyle.
freakin' good!
Tom you're killin"!!!!
I've never heard something like this
Is this session available on disk anywhere (CD, DVD?). Love the tracks on here!
Tom, H O W do you do it???
Yah, man!
Awesome! Tom killed double bass on 6:43
So cooking!!!!
