- This was a video from the Coyotes last game at Gila River Arena that I decided not to show until the day they played their first game at Mullett Arena. What a moment this was, everyone on their feet, no one (except Preds fans) leaving after the final buzzer and the team celebrating the win. Moments like these will last a lifetime and are one of the reasons we love the sport of hockey
Hello there! When the 2022-2023 NHL Season was around and when I kept watching the Arizona Coyotes play at a new arena, I was sad at that time because I was like WHY ARE THEY NOT PLAYING AT THEIR ORIGINAL ARENA LIKE THEY USED TOO?! So for me, Growing up, I watch the Arizona Coyotes play on TV at that arena since 2015! I miss the Arizona Coyotes playing at Gila River Arena (which is now Desert Diamond Arena), I miss hearing the goal horn on tv and also the buzzer when the clock hits 0 at the end of each period on tv there! I kept searching about what happened on Google about what happened, but I couldn’t understand the exact situation that happened to that and had to move to Mullet Arena at Arizona State University’s Campus last season and play their this season for one more year before moving on! Maybe in a couple of years they might move back to that original arena! I know this year specially, Desert Diamond Arena hosted a Women’s College Basketball game there it was South Carolina vs somebody I don’t remember but, I will say this again, A couple years, I wanna guess that they might go back to Desert Diamond Arena and play but if they can’t then, my next guess for right now after the games at the Mullet, they would next go to the Footprint Center in Phoenix, which is home to NBA Phoenix Suns and the WNBA Phoenix Mercury! That would be awesome IF THAT HAPPENS! It would also be nice after that happens, then they would go back to the Phoenix Coyotes! Now let be super honest with you, I’m not sure about the goal horn but, if they move to that arena in Phoenix, they can bring that horn from the old Gila River Arena Horn and use it and also bring to the Footprint Center in Phoenix and use it! It’s just Nostalgia just like the Detroit Red Wings from the Joe Louis Arena Goal Horn when they played it at the Little Caesars Arena this 2023-2024 NHL Season but a different sound to it! It still sounds good! Thankfully on NHL 23 Game for XBOX, Arizona still has the horn from GRA! Also, Have you heard about this awesome app called “Goal Horn Hub”?! It was created by Carson Lougheed and FamousGoalHorns! You should subscribe to Carson and FGH’s TH-cam Channel! I subscribed to both of them! I have an iPhone and I currently have the Lite Version which is free! It lets me play all of the goal horns from all 32 NHL Teams as I push the Goal Horn Button, you can create a custom song to play goal songs for all 32 NHL teams! Also, some sound effects! Between later this month and in 2024, I’m going to upgrade to the whole version of goal horn hub! It’s only $3.99 so I have to get me a credit card! There are no ads, it allows you to play some more awesome sounds effects with 5 different types of Buzzer sounds to buzz with, 16 different crowd noises sounds, and more new sound effects as well! You also have the option for a win song for all teams (I bet you can customize as well and set your own custom win song for each team as well! Best of all last but not least, MORE GOAL HORNS! (From Vintage NHL Teams, and others) I cannot wait to upgrade to The Whole Version of Goal Horn Hub, starting buzzing, playing more sound effects, and also play more goal horns as well as I press the goal horn button on the app on my phone and also to play it as I honk from the 2022 Arizona Coyotes at Gila River Arena, and The 2014, Phoenix Coyotes at Jobing.ComArena on my phone on the app! I heard that the arena was just old, and not earning very much, but why else did they abandon this arena? Especially since they now have to share one.
The location of the arena wasn't great was another reason
I was at the first coyotes game at Mullett arena. And I’m going tonight too
