Prodigy would be a good series. 1) Issac won 2 worlds with em 2) They're still catching flak for disc quality. Give people the truth of current Prodigy.
@jamesstricklin4056 that's the thing, I think they fixed a lot of the issues with newer runs, but old inventory may still be floating around. So it'd be cool for brod to find the truth
You've talked about the bitter-sweetness of your channel growing thanks to this series. What if you implement something similar for other brands? 30 days throwing only clash, prodigy, etc. P.S. I need me one of them frisbee club disc stamps!
MVP fanboys are everywhere. Go to any post asking about any disc and youll see a heavy, heavy MVP/Axiom bias. Youre not going to get the same response from Clash or Westside. If Brod wants the growth hes going to have to kiss the ring and bow to Simon and Eagles fanbase.
I agree. Said the same in a previous video. Plus add in the history of the brand being an "Old Head" as Brod describes himself. A frisbee historian of sorts.
Mvp, axiom and streamline have a huge selection of discs and plastics. Thank you for the time and the full month of playing with them. Was wondering which plastics were the ones you liked putting and throwing the most? Is fission _______ worth the price? Should you buy Electron putters? And did you test any remix discs out while playing this month?
I kicked things off by playing with my son's Glitch. That got me hooked, so I grabbed the Gyropalooza to have more discs to mess around with. Then I went all-in on Innova, followed by Discraft. When I tried to bag all MVP again, I found that their mid-range and putters were solid. But every time I threw MVP fairway and distance drivers, I felt like Innova and Discraft had better options. I really enjoy this series to see other players' takes on different brands.
About the electron plastic. I agree if you are using the Electron Hard the grip is not good on the old formula. This year they have tweaked the formula and noticed a big difference in the Electron Hard grip this year. Now it's actually my preferred putting plastic. Really love the content, keep it up!
My 2 cents… I think the 2 misses you had were not throwing the fission photon and the neutron Timelapse. Honorable mention to the plasma envy.. but, to each their own. Great video, great series, great channel. 🤙
I bag Envy’s for throwing and putting, a tempo, fission and eclipse hex, prism proton pyro, and 4 teslas, so I do really love MVP plastic. I did try the distance drivers but they’re just not very good. My main issue with them is they start out wildly overstable compared to flight numbers and then the plastic being so durable it takes too long to beat them in. I pretty quickly went back to destroyers, emperors, and wraiths. I still find it difficult for any manufacturer to compete with innova’s distance drivers. So many runs of discs to pick from. I have 5 destroyers all with their own purpose and a backup for each. It’s tough for anyone to compete with the longevity and variety of innova’s distance drivers.
I went from envy’s to atom’s then to pilot’s and thought I found my putters with the proxy. My buddy let me putt with a pixel and I haven’t switched up since! I’ve got 7 matching pairs now and I think it’s unbeatable! The throwing/putting combo of the pixel is spectacular. Since they changed up the electron formula too it’s the best!
Biggest question i got is which ones were your favorite to forehand? Developing mine and I only throw mvp so I would love to hear your thoughts in varying speeds, ie the forehand distance driver you liked, fair way driver and so on. I dont remember if you talked about the wave or even threw them in the series were they mentioned??
I love MVP Putters (aside from overstable), Mids, and Fairway Drivers a good bit. This series kinda cemented some of my understandings of the discs and you yourself gave me some great insight in why the distance drivers feel like ass. Great content man. You've been on my radar for a bit, but this series cemented me as a viewer for sure.
Also a sleeper disc I think you might not have tried. The Fission Crave is a banger. For me it feels so versatile. I keep a beat it and a new one in my bag pretty much always.
What would be the biggest request you'd have for MVP feel wise in the driver line up? ( I'm also replacing my MVP drivers, just have the photon and trail left. The wave I'm not truly in love with and most likely replacing)
For me the Lab Second Atoms are 💰 when I'm putting. I make a lot of putts vs before I ever picked one up. I have confidence using them and my stroke has become smooth
The best distance driver for forehand from map is the zenith similar to the photon with same fade but less initial flip definitely think you would have enjoyed that one
Glad you liked the soft proxy! Loved and lost mine and got a firm and it was an incredible upgrade. My soft had a Hella wobble but was accurate but the firm is a laser beam off the tee. I'm curious on how you made your initial decision on the discs and plastics to get, prior experience, #'s, YT reviews? I have a hard time buying anything without throwing one first.
People frequently say MVP/Axiom/Streamline have the best putters and mids in the game (Gavin Rathbun's in the bag and countless creators) but there is a consistent dislike for lots of the drivers. Do you feel like the over mold makes drivers even more unpredictable? Great channel and series Brod, keep up the fantastic work 🙏
I’m not brod obviously but in my opinion the main hate for the MVP drivers came from them never having any dome. Which they seem to have fixed somewhat recently because both the trails and the fission Timelapse’s were pretty domey for MVP.
They can be more over stable and don't glide. But I've also been seeing more domey runs in certain colors for their drivers. I have a flat Zenith that's beef and one with some that turns a bit. My domey Trail turned a lot, now I wanna try a flat one.
Really loved the series, it kinda felt like you where trying them but was byass , it didn’t feel like a holehearted attempt to get to know the new discs, and defently not that interested in adopting them, still though super fun ride koodos.great series you seemed to have inspired other tubers to try this.
Question!? Do you think you're gonna bag any mvp mold? And as others have been commenting here, you should make a 30 days series with another brand also after a while🤟
I have to disagree on the tempo and matrix comparison I’ve bagged both at one point. I’m still rocking the matrix but the tempo is gone because of hand feel
Brod is NEED the link to the Animal cover from your intros! There are some songs linked in the description every video but never the Neon Trees cover :/ Keep it up big homie! Love the vids
Prodigy would be a good series.
1) Issac won 2 worlds with em
2) They're still catching flak for disc quality.
Give people the truth of current Prodigy.
I like the way their disc fly but I can’t stand the flashing
@jamesstricklin4056 that's the thing, I think they fixed a lot of the issues with newer runs, but old inventory may still be floating around.
So it'd be cool for brod to find the truth
Totally agree. I don’t throw much Prodigy but would like to see how it is!
@@ViJt-oq5nq eh I don’t think so it’s mostly the newer stuff I’ve seen that has bad flashing
Prodigy is superior!

Came here to say the same thing! Great series!

No one watches videos on prodigy, trilogy, etc. MVP brings the views.

Great video, great series, great channel. 🤙
This series was so good. Thanks mate🙇🏻♂️
Looking to see which of these discs stay in your bag. This would be a cool series to do with other big brands too. Great series!
Aced with the Brodbird today! Third toss on the course, lil 180fter. Beautiful disc!
I love my Pyros. I feel like the pyro and hex will always be in my bag.
The resistor is so very solid too. I like discs that I can trust.

Get yourself an Eagle Envy. The prism proton plastic with the metal flake rims are absolute magic. You’ll thank me later.
For me the Lab Second Atoms are 💰 when I'm putting. I make a lot of putts vs before I ever picked one up. I have confidence using them and my stroke has become smooth

If the PDGA specs are accurate, the Trail is an 11. It throws like one for me. Some really domey ones are dropping, so I will probably add more.
There are many mvp discs/molds that will never leave the bag, but I think it would be hard for me to do an all mvp bag. Love the content man
Glad you liked the soft proxy! Loved and lost mine and got a firm and it was an incredible upgrade. My soft had a Hella wobble but was accurate but the firm is a laser beam off the tee. Brod with a future MVP sponsorship 👀
Let us know which if any discs you would stick with.
I would love a series dedicated to Legacy Discs 🤙

I throw only MVP and the drivers do feel wonky because of the extra weight in the rim. You get used to it and stop thinking about it after a while.
I think it’s hand feel. Just don’t feel as good in the hand. 🤷♂️
They can be more over stable and don't glide.
But I've also been seeing more domey runs in certain colors for their drivers.
I have a flat Zenith that's beef and one with some that turns a bit. My domey Trail turned a lot, now I wanna try a flat one.
What, if anything, might stay in the bag? I hope at least the soft proxy, my favorite throwing putter from far! Cheers
Do you think any of the MVP plastics pair best with a disc type? Can you rank your favorite plastic types overall?
I know how you feel about fission(should just feel gummy and not like base-line) and 14.5 speeds...but have you tried the Eagle Dimension?
Envy, eclipse Reactor, rhythm, trance, Zenith, mayhem, teleport you're snoozin brod
I look forward to you being able to go back to Innova made discs
I come here for the hand gestures, if you take a drink every time he talks with his hands you get pretty smashed! Good luck!
I thought I was the only one, cheers 🍻

Gotta get up to frost creek while your here! Just message them, home course.
Photon and Vanish are the only distance drivers worth a damn right now
Hi, new to the channel. What courses are you playing? These are beautiful, would love to do a trip to play some of these. Thanks!
You gotta do this with all companies until you have the best mixed bag!!!
Hey, I'm in the Seattle area. You do lessons? Would love a chance yo get a round in.
I want to know what you think about the fission timelapse and the wave
What weight were u using in ur discs? Normal 172-175 or some lighter?
Question!?
Do you think you're gonna bag any mvp mold?

That fission fireball is gonna beta in and flip over quick on ya
Nomad greater than pixel

Did you learn anything about your game or type of discs you like by throwing mvp? Are there any discs you liked enough to put in your usual bag?
Why didn't you try putting with the Streamline Pilot?
Yeah bro we get it, you smacked it.
What's the weight on that Fission Fireball?
no time to watch atm, comment for the algo, loved this series.
The pixel is a deeper anode in my opinion 🤷♂️
30 days all discmania?
👀
Do trilogy or discmania next
No fission time-lapse? it's flippy, but a bomber
Reactor greater than Matrix
Do prodigy!!
30 day Millenium bag?
Are you going to keep any MVP in the bag?
"In putting plastic, for putting"
You’re allowed to throw putter plastic 🤷
lol makes a 40ft putt and acts like he won worlds.
Imagine not having fun while disc golfing.
@broderic imagine rating a disc on one putt
@@trackballmasterimagine not understanding the context of this video and thinking I rated a disc based off one throw.
Brod please sell me that PP plasma octane
Damn… the suggestions for 30 days of prodigy sounds kind of awful. Do it. Ha
foot fault
Crave is overrated
It is ugly.
The MVP garbage is finally over. I’m happy to be back.
