I pulled the two spare cross straps from inside the bag and use them to compress the top of the bag to the frame when it is mostly empty. This fixes the floppy top. KUIU has provided enough attachment points that they are very easy to hook up and use.

What lid did you add, I have the same size bag and would like to add a lid.
