Hi Darren, it's an optimised pairing of imported Japanese koi. Our approach is to buy in the best genetics we can afford, then to try out different pairings until we find an optimised pairing. Once optimised, the pairing stays the same year on year. LMC is a Ueno showa female that we have an optimised pairing for and have been spawning her successfully in that pairing for 3 years. 'LMC' is simply the name we gave her.
