The shine dungeon, the shine booth, the shine chair, the shine closet, the shine workshop, the shine throne. Soon to be the shine chateau, the shine castle, and shine yacht.
J, where have you been? (Where have I been?) Your chest and arms look ever so slightly bigger-- especially your arms. You’ve been going to the gym. Your videos are always so soothing to frayed nerves.
Missed you brother! Congrats on new spot and staying in motion. Thought of you after we went to maui and stopped by some of your hotspots. So tragic what happened man, but fire cant erase my memories
Hey JD! I was cruising through some of your older vids and saw you working a pair of oiled leather redwings. You mentioned using Saphir neutral oiled leather cream on them. I am wondering if it is ok to use Saphir Pomm cream as well on a pair of oiled leather redwings...like will it hurt them? Thanks man.
Am I to understand that the burnished toe look on shoes and boots, which I hate seeing, is nothing more than excessively applied layers of wax!?! 😮 I always equated the look of a burnished toe with the boot or shoe having been exposed to a blow torch's flame.
There are multiple ways to burnish a toe I believe. Easiest way is to use darker shades of leather dye on the toes. Some use darker wax and build layers. I've generally not seen people use flame to darken shoes, the line between burning the leather and darkening it seems pretty fine.
@@ryanpiyo98 It was an exaggeration to illustrate a point. I doubt anyone would truly expose leather footwear to a direct flame unless they were looking to burn it.
Well, it's definitely been a loooong time since I've seen any of your videos. Nice job on the shoes. Perhaps you'll consider stepping outta the closet soon. I mean, dude... it's soooo obvious seeing you now since then!
