- Hello friends
Let me show you how to make an easy and fun DIY wire wrap bracelet bangle, using copper wire and a few beads. It's unisex, so that you can make it to suit a variety of wearers... you can leave it plain or decorate it how you like!
This project is perfect for the beginner, and it doesn't use many materials. The step by step tutorial is slow paced and includes chat and general musings (so please do mute me if I ramble too much haha)
Materials you will need:
1.5mm (16g) wire
0.8mm (20g) wire
A few beads of your choice
Flush cutters
6 step pliers (mine are 2-9mm)
Chain nose pliers
Flat nose pliers
Ruler
Bangle mandrel (mine is oval)
Bench block and hammer
File or emery board
I hope you enjoy making these. Let me know in the comments section.

Stop denigrating yourself! You may not see yourself as an expert, but many of us are here to learn from you, which makes you an expert to us. As far as being a big girl, I'm sure many of us are & we need to see how to size stuff to fit us. Keep up the great work. I assure you we're watching. Anyone who doesn't agree needs to find other creators!
That’s so very kind of you, thank you ☺️
@@samanthalatimer1 Your work is amazing I second @lauresa10 comment. Agree 100%💜

You do NOT talk too much! It makes me feel like I'm sitting with a friend, beading. I would love to see tutorials for masculine jewelry!
Thank you so much ☺️ and I’ll add them to my list, so watch this space, as they say ❤️
Yes, I love to hear u talk and explain everything. The talk about your animal and kids makes a personal connection for me. I'm home alone (I love being alone) you keep me company and I'm learning!! Ty

This is so up my alley! I can't wait to try! I need to get a bangle mandrel. I have been making earrings for my daughter and wanted to make something for her husband. This is the perfect idea! Thank you for this tutorial. I would love to see any other chap tutorials as well! As others have stated...you are an expert to us! I love your chatting along the way. As an American, I can never get enough of the UK accent, lol. You just keep being you and the Samantha that we love! 💕
That’s so lovely! Thank you so much ☺️
Please do more of these.
On my list ☺️
You are better than you think. You got me started on chain maile, which I said could not do to save my life. You are great
Ah Deborah. I’m so happy about this and I love seeing your pieces over in our group 🥰
Samantha, it's because of you I started making jewelry. It's turning into a very profitable business. My husband is thrilled with the electrical wire bracelets for customers and employees. You are the best. It's because of your niceness and great personality that I watch you. ❤❤❤
Oh that’s really good to hear! 🥰
Yes please more like these
On my list 😍
You are so very talented and generous in sharing your designs with us. I don’t know who designates who is an expert and who isn’t but I don’t think that matters. The bottom line for me is who I enjoy watching and learning from.
There will always be negative people but they are insignificant. Don’t give them any power. If they don’t like your style they don’t have to watch you. Life is too short to allow strangers to upset you.
I do enjoy your tutorials, I like your style and I watch all your videos. Please ignore the negative and stress the positive.
I’m so very grateful for your very kind comments, thank you so much ☺️
Samantha, you are beautiful and made just as you were supposed to be. You are talented and a great teacher. I am grateful for you. Please know that the ugly remarks stay in our head, but you have 1000's of good remarks that tell you how truly great you are at the wire work and bead work you do. The people that say awful things have said these same things to all the people I watch on youtube that do jewelry etc., I think they get a kick out of trying to hurt people. Don't give them the power they are after. Knowing they are in your head keeps them coming back, don't play their bully game and you will come out the better for it. Blessings and stay strong!!!!!!!!!! I can't see the work I do well either so I put reading glasses over my regular glasses to see what I am doing.
Thank you so much for your very kind words. It really means a lot to me. 🥰
I love the look of this, will definitely be having a go once i get my hands on a bracelet mandrel.
Hope you have fun making yours 😍
YES! AS the below comment stated: "PLEASE STOP DENIGRATING YOURSELF!!" You ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, TALENTED, CREATIVE, BEE-YUU-TEE-FULLL (BEAUTIFUL that is), & ALLLLL OF THE GOOD THINGS!! & I WISH I was that tall!!
I've said this before, but ~ I've been making jewellery for 10+ years, but your creative designs, teaching style, & the ABSOLUTE VERSATILITY of everything you show us are ALWAYS, ALWAYS AMAZING! & I ALWAYS learn something new, useful, & DIFFERENT that I've not seen/tried/utilized before!! You really are a blessing, even (or maybe especially) to those of us who've been doing this for a bit [or a long time!!]
& as an aside [& having NOTHING to do with jewellery at all] I absolutely L💜VE your laugh! 😂 It ALWAYS makes ME chuckle & smile! 😆🤣🤗😋
Please do, show us your amazing ideas for gent's jewellery! Tutorials for those are so hard to find! & Also ~ (SORRY!) can you also please show us how to make wire/wire wrapped "security"/secure clasps please?
Aloha & Mahalo Nui Loa for ALLLLLLL you do!!
P.S. Are we [or I guess am I] able/allowed to sell your designs [of course, denoting that it IS YOUR design]? If not, I TOTALLY GET it ~ it's just that your designs are SOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL & UNIQUE [& ALWAYS SO VERSATILE! I KNOW!!Broken record! Sorry! But they are!]
P.P.S. YOU DEFINITELY ARE AN EXPERT!! FOR SURE! T/Y again! Sorry for such a LONG comment!
I appreciate your long comment so much! Thank you ☺️ and of course… please go ahead and sell whatever you like. The designs are pretty generic and I do not hold any restrictions on what I demonstrate. Aloha ❤️❤️
I Love Your Voice your British accent and your funny comments! You’re easy going relaxed and fun to listen to!
I really enjoy and appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us and most of all really appreciate you sharing your talents with us! You’re so very inspiring!!! Thank you so so much!
Excellent video
Superb!👏
Ps men’s jewelry would be great to see!!!
Thank you!!!
Oh thank you! ☺️ I’m glad you enjoy listening to me ramble along lol 😂
Thank you Sam, I love your simple, but elegant and beautiful bracelet. I really enjoy your tutorials, and I really feel like you are talking to each of us, I love your relaxed and easy-way of showing and teaching us. Thank you for being you, you help and teach us new things each and every tutorial. So thank you again Sam. Big hugs. Enjoy your long weekend x❤
Ah Lesley, thank you so much, as always. Hugs back 😍
You are a beautiful, very tall lady!!, unlike us shorties 😆. You may not think of yourself as an expert Samantha, but you are certainly making experts out of us, for that we truly thank you 🙏🏼 ♥️
Oh thank you! ☺️ that’s really kind of you to say
Samantha I love this bracelet for men and women. I love the beads on it too. Thank you for sharing your design with me. ❤😊
You are so welcome! 🤗
You say you’re not an expert but if you made a video on how to build a spaceship we would all be astronauts! I love your videos you have taught me to make many beautiful things. Thank you 😊
Oh I love that! 🚀 Thank you so much ☺️
My mom's side has 6ft+ woman. I am short and ALWAYS wanted to be very tall. You are so blessed. You have a huge and fantastic personality. I absolutely love your clips.
Thank you so much!! ☺️ I do quite like being a tall and well built woman! 😍
love these thank you Samantha the weather has been crazy here in Leicester as well.and iv had a very up and down week it defo makes such a difference being creative its kept me sane for years through so many of lifes ups and downs for 57 years now if im not creating something i feel dead inside i have a feeling there are many of us that feel this way around the world
Oh I completely agree. If it wasn’t for my crafting, I’m not sure how I would have survived various things in my life. ☺️
I would love to see some videos of slow stitching. It’s all new to me but I love it. I just found kawandi and made a placemat. Very relaxing to do hand stitching. I do crocheting and jewelry making, love using copper wire .thank you for all your videos. I am retired and pushing 84. I still love learning new crafts.
84 years young and how lovely that you’re so active in your crafts. I’m delving into sashiko at the moment and it’s wonderful to sit down at the end of a day and practice some relaxing stitching. Thank you for being here with me 🥰
My Bible tells me we are all fearful and wonderfully made! Therefore you are perfection. I personally like when a creator misjudges a task because I learn how to fix it when-and I’m sure I will-I make the same error. Thank you for your kind teaching manner and fantastic projects. I love the hints as to how to make something more masculine while making jewelry a woman would enjoy.
Thank you for such kind words. I’m so grateful for you being here 🥰
I do like the idea of a few tutorials aimed toward men. I have such a hard time coming up with something that a gent would wear...
Thank you for the tutorial, and I hope you are well and enjoying your summer. 🤗 ❤️
Thank you so much for watching. Summer has been a little damp, but having a nice one nonetheless ☺️
Thank you for sharing with us. I think your great, except you make it look really easy. I have tried several, then I found your "beginner" project patterns which are my level. Your the best.
Thank you so much for your kind words 🥰
I love your tutorials! I would love to see more designs for the gentlemen in our lives
Oki doki 👍🏻
That’s the spirit Sam! 💕 Love this bangle and love working along with you, listening to you talk… that’s why we love you… and you are a fantastic teacher and wire worker. I make my own earwires too. I would love to see the way you make yours sometime.
Thank you, Lori 🥰 I’ll be making a findings video very soon
I'd love to learn to make some jewelry for men. Thank you for your awesome tutorials. You are very talented.
Thank you so much! ☺️
Sam I love you glad I found you. I am wearing a beautiful pair of earrings already and have made my grt. granddaughter a letter ring. I am just gonna get the thicker wire out to make a gorgeous bracelet Thank you so much. Yes please make some more videos you are a great inspiration xx
Ah that’s so lovely of you to say, thank you ☺️
Dear Samantha, for me you are the expert because I learn from you. I deeply respect and appreciate your knowledge and willing to share with us. I know it is not easy. I know some days or weeks are more difficult than others. So I am sending you a big hug and all my love. ❤
Thank you so much for your kind comment 🥰

I love this design! So simple and versatile. I’ve been wanting to make a bracelet with some special gemstones and I’m seeing them in this design with gold filled wire! ❤ And the the clasp is perfection. I really enjoy listening to you chat while I’m making jewelry, even if I’m not making what you are making. 😊
Ah that’s so lovely of you to say, thank you ☺️

Thank you for sharing Samantha, your a great teacher and I love the way you explain things make it so easy for us to follow. God bless!
You are so welcome! 🤗
I *love* slow stitching but am not yet very good at it. I think it's a great idea for those of us who are interested to follow along with a project. BTW... I agree wih what others have said: don't denigrate yourself. You're delightful company, and I look forward to your videos. I watch all of them! ❤
That’s very kind of you, thank you ☺️
Just love your tutorials, you bring a positive vibe and are always encouraging to us "newbies"

I'm definitely interested in men's jewelry!! Your work is awesome. Thank you for sharing with us❤🎉😊
You are so welcome! 🤗
Fantastic tutorial! I love the heavier gauge wire and will give it a try. Ordering a bangle mandrel today. Sam you are an amazing teacher!
That’s so kind of you, thank you ☺️
Absolutely interested in men’s jewelry! I have a 6’4” son that really likes to wear jewelry… he plays mandolin. And drums. And currently at his house has access to a huge organ he is dabbling in playing music for his games he plays online with his siblings across the country in Texas.
Wow, this was not about my son! Sorrrrrryyyyyy…. I talk too much. I adore your tutorials . Thank you for sharing!

A wonderful tutorial and design. Thank you for sharing and keep being fabulous!
That’s so lovely, thank you ☺️
Really enjoyed your wire wrapped bracelet. I like your instructions and conversation. I am looking forward to the next wire wrap . You really make it easy and fun. Thank you. Maybe I can make some bracelets for Christmas gifts.
I’m so glad you don’t mind me chatting away. Some folks don’t enjoy it, but that’s ok. Perfect for Christmas gifts, so I hope you enjoy making your gifts 🥰
This bracelet is fabulous fantastic tutorial Samantha!
Thank you so much ☺️
These bangles are fantastic! Thanks Sam! ❤
Glad you like them! 🥰
You’re the best and so great to listen to. I must agree with another beader you need to give yourself more credit as I find you so talented and you are an expert. I found you on you tube and I am very picky who I learn from or who also keeps my interest. You do that for me and I sure others. Oh and non of us are perfect when it comes to our size. We are all beautiful in our own very special way. Thank you for being you and contributing to this community. I will continue to learn from you and keep up the great work you do. 🥰. Marianne from Massachusetts
That's just so very kind of you to say, so thank you so much. I don't consider myself an expert at all... but just a woman who enjoys faffing with craft and share a little bit of colour and joy. And yes! We are all beautiful, and I love that x
I love these bracelets. You do such professional designs! ❤
Thank you so much! ☺️
Another awesome tutorial, thank you Samantha!
You are so welcome! 🤗
Love your designs . They are different than others . This one will be going on my to do list too . ❤
Thank you, Darlene 🥰🥰
Oh my! What do you cut a 2 mm wire with? I use a memory wire cutter for thicker wire, bur it just dents the 2 mm! Love your videos, very informative and fun! Thanks!❤
Heavy duty cutters 😍
These are both lovely! Very clear directions 😊
Thank you so much ☺️
Oooh loved that one! yes please more ideas for guys!!❤
On my list, Catherine ☺️
You may not be an expert in your own opinion but you ARE an expert to all of us and we learn SO much from you! Your success on TH-cam is well deserved and you are absolutely adored by ALL of us! Keep helping us be better and I’ll sure be sending you lots of positive vibes and love! Cheers to you! Sending a big ((HUG)) ❤

Thank you for watching 😍
Love this tutorial and can't wait to try it ❤
Hope you like it! 😍
They're so cute❤. I just love them.
Thank you 🙏
Beautiful Sam! I so hate the fact that I still haven't been able to do any of your pieces yet as I am constantly in very poor health which is also not good for my mental health, great now I'm waffling as you put it lol. ANYWAYS, I just wanted to let you know that even though I can't do much (so far I've only made some chain links), watching and listening to your videos brighten my day!😊 Hope you are well, thank you! p.s can't wait to try making this bracelet.
Even though you’re not up to making anything, I’m so happy that you find the videos helpful. During my most difficult mental health days, I turn to my favourite TH-camrs and they always make me feel better. It’s strange how we can find solace in unusual places, and from people we’ve never even met. I’m happy to listen to anyone waffling… I do enough of that myself lol 😂 I wish you calm days, and I hope your health improves for you very soon ❤️
So cute!
🥰🥰
hey Sam, love this bracelet and the simple to follow instructions! I promise email coming this week! 😉😁
Hi Linda. Lovely to see you. I look forward to your email, and I hope you’re doing ok x

Great tutorial as always. Looking forward to giving it a go and hoping my fingers and thumbs will let me this week 😂
Oh, and would love to see some idea for the guys.
On my list 😁
lol let’s hope your hands let you 🤩
Is the wire you use bare or coated? I always enjoy your videos and always learn new designs. Thank you.
It’s always bare, unless I say otherwise. I’m not a huge fan of coated wire so it’s pretty much always bare when I use copper 🥰
@@samanthalatimer1 Thank you!
We lived in Oxford for 7 years so we love anything Britain. Do you think you could send fish and chips in the post? 😅
I’d love to be able to do that for you! One of my fave treat meals 🐟 🍟
Got my eye on a steel mandrel with a tang so if you are doing really heavy stuff it csn be in the vice. ... for now i guess i will try to make due 😅😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉
🥰🥰
You make ma laugh all the time - in a good way - You are NOT a large woman! hahaha - Iiiii am 2 inches taller than you and quite a bit wider than you as well :) so we can be just a tad off normal (that keeps them guessing of size or mind - I am both so hahahahahah) - this tutorial never leaves me lacking of ideas or smiles :) Thank you for all the hard work that you put into these!!! I'm not sure if soft stitching is wire or not - I'm more of a wire girl or soldering now, so I shall watch you in your non-wire journeys as well - have a good week and keep that wonderful smile and laughter going :) ~Lynda
Thank you so much, Lynda 🥰 I like the idea of being a tad off normal 😉 Slow stitching is basically hand sewing things… slowly 😁 Very good for the soul x
Forgot to say, yes to men’s jewelry. My gent loves it.
Never stop waffling 😅
Ok! Haha 😝
Tried making it without a bracelet mandrel 😂😂😂😂. Need to invest in one
Oh eck! lol 😂 sorry for making you spend money, Tracey 😉
Sorry to hear you’ve been having a rough couple of weeks.
As someone that been there (sons are now 29 & 31 w Tourette’s, ADHD, Aspergers and anxiety disorder between them) fully understand how tough being a mom can be!
Also think you are beautiful…size is a number. Period.
You’re so lovely, thank you so much ☺️
Can you make with 20 guage wire?
I think it would be too thin for these, to be honest. I wouldn’t go less than 1.25mm or 17g/18g… just so you get the solidity you need for a bangle. Give it a try though and let me know how you get along 🥰
I like to listen to you talk!
I don’t have a mandral
Yes, men’s jewelry please! You do NOT talk too much, I love your videos. Thank you!
Oki doki 👍🏻 On my list
Samatha please be careful with Temu. Check the product details. It may say crystal in the add but under product details is might say artificial crystals
Ah thank you for the advice 😍 I know they’re just glass but they’re really pretty. 🤩
@@samanthalatimer1 They are, aren't they
I love your projects and your voice, you are quite a distraction.
Can we speed it up? Your dog, neighbors, husband aren’t apart of the tutorial.
Please feel free to zip past the boring parts 😍
Some of us like the neighbors, dog, husband. It makes it more personal and pErsonable.
