It's gonna be a big one this time. All the dams are full vs last years floods. Also windsor bridge was only meant to give a bit of extra time before it's closed. At the point the bridge goes under, so do the roads on the other side. So a taller bridge only would have lead to a flooded road on the wilbo side
@@DXNTHXMXN_KZK , I noticed that the new bridge was better then useless too. We used to go to Sackville and had to tow our caravan up to higher ground often before the bridge went under. What clown decided the bridge and road didn’t need to be higher 😂😂😂😂
Hi Arron, Eastern creek, Richmond rd, Glendenning, near me, Is already heaps high. This goes into south creek. There so much new building and concrete up here the waters got to go somewhere. I’ve heard Rivo and schoies alredy have flooding. Regards Alex
My Heart goes out to ALL FLOOD VICTIMS, I lost a lot last year in the Hawkesbury Floods, was in the Evacuation Centre for 10 days!, It's really DEPRESSING being around 100 people or so?, WHO HAVE LOST EVERYTHING!!!, I'll never ever Forget that. GOD BLESS TO ALL, & TO THE NSW EMERGENCY SERVICES!, AUSSIES REALLY DO HELP EACH OTHER!!!. CHEERS.
nothing, normally about this time of year mature Bull sharks come up and meet the schools of Mullet starting there sea run, i think they also breed in the fresh, the mullet schools have depleted badly in recent years especially the yellow eye mullet from the upper Hawkesbury so there is less reasons for them to come this far up.
Wasn't happy with the main news coverage so guessed you may have been out and about so came a took a look. Seems like you'll be doing these 1 in 100 year flood videos on a regular basis! I hope everyone get's the message regarding driving in flood waters don't want any repeats of that foreign student on Cattai Ridge road crossing last year. Look forward to your aftermath follow up when it is safe to film. Thanks for these, they are like a public service, as opposed to your fishing entertainment. I guess if we are lucky it will flush out the local northern systems at some point, was thinking if there really has been some unadmitted pollution of the Parra as you suspect, but not until after we get more sewage releases and all that will end up out to sea via the Harbour or Pittwater.
just on that little radio but at the end. us turf farmers have been well and truly blessed the past 25 odd years with next time no floods. everyone along here has been here long enough to know that floods are apart of life out here, especially along the flats at freeman’s reach, wilberforce, cornwallis and richmond lowlands. we’ve seen floods from purely local rain water, no dam water involved at all. i think we just need to accept that mother nature always wins, and that politics and whatever else should stay out of it.
What shits me, this is the third in a row, 1 in 100 year flood. Nothing has been done to get across the river, the Windsor bridge/boat ramp was a waste of money !!!! 😤
It was a bridge replacement, & hence why build it way higher than the feeder roads. Also why do people keep adding the year, it is 1 in 100 chance of certain height reached, it doesn't actually have 'year' on end, some media wally's added that years ago & it stuck i believe!
"So I went and got supplies too"...(Red Rooster tucker). Gotta love the great Aussie Spirit that lets us smile in the face of adversity.
I'm out I ate the lot.
Someone say KFC?
Better news than the mainstream.. Thanks mate
My local creek usually at a trickle is like a raging river right now.

only a proper over head flood crossing at northo will make out here flood proof
Yea the Windsor bridge the new one is useless because it’s already under and I live close to where it’s located

Interesting how far the South creek will back up.
I owned the Butcher Shop in Hobartville Shopping Centre from 88 to 92 & we went through some horrible flooding several times back then.
I live fairly close to the Windsor bridge and I tell you what this is only the beginning to what I’ve seen
Love the intro shot going over the bridge good job

Just seen a warning for Redbank dam at North Richmond is that near you.
Oh my Gosh, sooo many Rain? That is not normal,or?
Just a question mate. What is stopping bull sharks coming up as far as north Richmond
nothing, normally about this time of year mature Bull sharks come up and meet the schools of Mullet starting there sea run, i think they also breed in the fresh, the mullet schools have depleted badly in recent years especially the yellow eye mullet from the upper Hawkesbury so there is less reasons for them to come this far up.
There was a massive stingray beached on northo bridge when the waters went down in the 80's so bull sharks are well within the realms of possibility
Stay safe Aaron, its going to be even worse than previous!
NICE WINDSHELD WIPERS....

yep we all new that poor people camped and protested against that bridge and they still built it
