This was my first review and use of a HiBoost. I have had a competing brand for about five years that was also a car model. I did install a fixed RV antenna with that one. I'm going to keep the Hiboost mobile so I can use it in any of our vehicles. Works great.
Nice, just getting into the overlanding/offroading. I may have to invest in one of those. Never knew they existed. Thanks for sharing!
I was skeptical at first, but sitting in a dead zone every day changed my mind if you can even get one extra bar, it makes a world of difference.
So, is the number of bars shown on the phone reflecting signal strength from the inside antenna or the cell tower?

@@jerryhighfill3951 with mine it’s always been from the device antenna inside. Turn it off the bars on my phone drop, turn it on the bars rise.
Any reason why you went with the car module, instead of the truck module?
