- Queen + Paul Rodgers Tour was a world concert tour by Queen guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor, joined by singer Paul Rodgers under the moniker of Queen + Paul Rodgers. The tour was Queen's first since The Magic Tour in 1986, and the death of lead singer Freddie Mercury in November 1991. The band's drummer Roger Taylor commented; "We never thought we would tour again, Paul (Rodgers) came along by chance and we seemed to have a chemistry. Paul is just such a great singer. He's not trying to be Freddie."

Crazy how even after 50 years of listening to Paul Rodgers I still get goosebumps when I hear his voice. Simply one of the best voices in rock ever
Absolutely! Still gets me.
i have only recently discovered him, i have been living under a rock.
he is one of the best ever ❤, so smooth.what a voice
Peter , correction , He is THE best rock vocal …🥰🥰🥰👍👍👍
He is not one of the best.Aint no one who comes close
Paul Rodgers not being in the rock and roll hall of shame is LUDACRIS.
AGREED. The guy was asked to join the freaking Doors when Morrison died. Same for Deep Purple. Find a better rock voice from all those decades. The RRHOF are idiots.
If you knew about the people behind the R&R HOF , you wouldn't care about the award.
Paul Rodgers. Damn. THAT is what a rock star in his 60's looks and sounds like when it all hasn't been ravaged by drugs and alcohol. Many decades of clean living. His more recent performances are still this good. Legend!
Really, he's had more work done than the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Arguably, one of the best rock vocalists ever. Chris Cornell had that title for a brief period, but Paul got it back with Cornell’s untimely passing.
Good information to have...
Spot on!...👍
I was thinking the same thing. He looks so young and I look so old and was 14 when I first heard Bad Company.
My favorite male rock singer. I am a former vocal coach, and I think he is enthralling. His voice is amazing.
I think Paul is the greatest voice in rock history.
You are correct sir..
One of them
Agree!!
@@rosemarygranat Sammy Hager is the other goat
Right beside Sammy Hagar
How is he not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?
Yes well over due 👏
It’s pretty much based on the opinion of a handful of people.
Instead the Green Day puke is in there.
Excellent question but then the greats seem to get passed over for people like Dolly Parton! Ugh!
I have found out that they asked him to be in the HOF. He declined stating that Rock and Roll doesn't belong in a Museum.
The music from Bad Company and Queen was life changing in the 70s. NOBODY had ever heard ANYTHING like Queen.. To see young people in the audience going nuts over the music now that we did 50 yrs ago tells you of the quality of this music. There is nothing being made anywhere that is as good as this is and was.
Well said!...👌
Paul Rodgers and Paul Carrack are two legends whose vocal abilities have never faded over time. Just as good today as they were decades ago.
two best voices ever
Fully agree with that..👍🏻🏴
Much of the audience weren't alive when these guys started making great music. Just shows that quality lasts!
Paul Rodgers is the best -- and from the first moment I heard Allright Now - I knew he was special.
My favourite voice growing up, and I still never tire of his seemingly effortless delivery. Bravo!
Yes! You never see him screaming to get a note out. Amazing singer!
This guys vocal is one of the best I ever heard
Love the guitar solo at 2.32 Brian really hit the sweet spot, the look on Roger Taylor's face confirms this. Paul Rogers and queen, can't go wrong really🤟
Paul Rodgers, the best male rock singer on earth.
I have always loved Bad Co. This song took on special meaning when played at an amazing friend's funeral. He was a phenomenal guitar player and loved this song. He died in a tragic car accident. Thank you, Paul Rodgers for this amazing song. Your voice is beautiful. Queen made this even more special.
RIP David RIP Kevin
My condolences to you.
@@anthonyrussell9477 thank you
I think it's fair to say Freddie and Paul had different vocal styles. Freddie more powerful and operatic, while Paul is more bluesy and soulful.. But both great in their own right.
Yes, perfect description of both.
Fair assessment.
Paul doesn't seem to age, in fact I think he looks better now. And that voice!
One of my all time favorites songs ..
Say what you like about this version of Queen but they sound incredible and are just a joy to watch play.
Pau Rodgers is totally my favourite singer of all time
Paul is a fantastic singer and this 'combo' works very well!
Superb! Paul Rogers really fits well with Queen. He lends a real rock band feel to the outfit.
I saw this tour. I love Paul Rodger and I love Queen. I think it was a great temporary combination. The show was incredible. Get the double-CD ...it's excellent.
Brilliant version. May solo was excellent!
What a beautiful song this is...isn’t it. ❤️
Absolutely. The lyrics are everything. I hear 2 profound messages in this. One is encouragement. Go for your dreams! Johnny made it. But listen carefully. "All the world will love JUST AS LONG AS YOU ARE A SHOOTING STAR". When your flame of fame passes on to others the world goes with them, and there you are. Suddenly alone. It's sad but true. So important to stay grounded.
@@loriholloway5866 This is probably Paul's tribute to Paul Kossoff.
I really liked this version... a lot. Paul's voice just seems to get better with age. Brian May has got the style and tone down perfectly.
That's a great song , dedicated to all the rock legends that left way too soon , thanks to allll
Love Paul and his amazing voice!
I've heard every song he's ever sung and they're all so effortless!
Can't beat this song with Paul Rodgers on vocals and the remaining members of "Queen", it's a great track!. had this on the other day and hadn't heard it for a while, now I keep whistling it under my breath. this was a great hybrid band mix while it lasted...they were brilliant live when I saw them perform in Glasgow.
Love Paul Rodgers, Bad Company, and Queen, it is all good !
I've followed his history of different bands he created, and love every song I've heard of his. And he is so fine to look at too!!
Yes he is very fine!
What a team of legends on this stage. Epic performance here. Paul Rodgers sir, you bring the magic! A living legend in our time. God bless!
Paul Rodgers and Queen were a perfect marriage. Superb.
What a voice, I can't get this song out of my head I love it and I think Paul Rogers is the greatest
Agree!!
Greatest collaboration ever, Long Live Queen and Long Live Bad Co. !!!!!!
Another Masterclass in Soulful Rock vocals, backed by virtuosity.
He deserves to be in Rock Hall of Fame👍
Let's not forget the guitar that is May!!!
Yep. Brian and Roger take this song to the stratosphere.
One of the greats
Luv Adam ,big talent but Paul F N Rodgers is a R and R Legend , Luvvvvvvvv uuuuuuu
The greatest rock vice ever
This song was inspired by the passing of Paul Kossoff, his band mate from Free, who sadly passed at the age of 26.
Paul Rogers is amazing
I was lucky enough to see Bad Company with Paul and also with The Firm. You have to see him live to understand why he is known as The Voice. Brian Mays playing goes right with this song.
Blows me away how many times I've 3:02 listen to this and never gets old!
Song writer, musician, keys, guitar, voice superb, showman, clean living, humble, kind to his fans, helps animals, and he's helped so many along the way from waaaaay back that most
people don't know about with his counsel and connections... Led Zep, Eagle Joe Walsh, etc.
He's beloved and respected.
Paul Rodgers wrote many great songs. He also is a verry gifted musician and is considered by many to be one of the best rock blues singers. Thanks Paul for your contribution to the music world.
The Voice ❤

@@paulrodgers5241 m a davvero poche visualizzazioni????????????????
ma cosa mangiano i giovani oggi? questa la crema.
@@paulrodgers5241 I thought Jay Black was "The Voice". He is/was pretty damn good. No disrespect.
Actually that title belongs to John Farnham, just ask Sir Tom Jones!
THE voice!!!
A great song pushed into the stratosphere by the mystical tone of the Red Special.
I like Adam Lambert but Paul Rogers is a better fit with Queen. With Paul you not only get Queen stuff but you also get Bad Company stuff and stuff from Free and you get Paul's solo stuff. You get a lot more stuff with Queen+Paul Rogers. And.....Paul can play the guitar.
Paul is a super star in his own right, he doesn't need to hang on to Queens coat tails.
@@jonathanwilliamson1931 Completely agree. But dang they sound good together!
What if I don’t want to listen to Queen…
Screw Adam Shambert!
I actually agree with you. Paul left them. Btw
My favourite live version of Shooting Star sung by the greatest Rock singer ever to come out of the UK, imo. Brian May on guitar & Roger Taylor on drums are also superb.
Nice job guys. Tight, precise. Still such a clear, resonant voice Paul. You and Queen would make Freddy proud.
Kick ass song kick ass performance Kick ass band
Brian May is a boss guitarist.
Queen has always been on the top musically and losing their vocals (the great Freddy) didn't stop their great music. Paul Rodgers still has a great voice. Brian May is a god and Roger Taylor has always been at the top of his game. Great stuff.
LOVE Paul’s voice! And dang Bri’s solo here ❤!!!!!
Paul Roger’s ❤
Greatest Front man in History Period!!!
Agree!!
Brilliant, that number never grows old...👍🏻🏴
Best voice in rock
The best version!!!🎤🎸👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Dodam ,specjalnie ,podziękowanie Tobie Paul ,za talent ,za głoś ,za super wykonywanie tak świetnej muzyki w Twoim wykonaniu ,dziękuje .
Long live Paul Rodgers.I used to study in Brighton.I am 70 now and his voice mellow with his age and sounds better now
Free,Liverpool Stadium 1973,support act....Queen, the wheel turns full circle
Making it look and sound SO easy. Tremendous.
if i found a genie and he granted me a wish it would to be able to sing like Paul Rodgers. god damn
An excellent rendition of this song, big fan of both queen and Paul! Bri and Roger give it a very different take music wise. Wish they had played this in the later UK tour as it would have been a great crowd participation song.
WITAM UTALĘNTOWANEGO PAULA ,MIMO WIEKU I KONIEC KARIERY KONCERTÓW ,W JEGO WYKONANIU NIE MA DNIA BY SOBIE MIŁO SPĘDZIĆ CZAS PRZY JEGO MUZYCE ,
I love a lot of music, but Paul is God of vocals.
Johnny was a Moondog when he sang his first Beatle song. In spite of all the danger, I think it was and from there it didn't take long. ( Long Live QUEEN and BADCO )
Beautiful. Brian May one of the best live guitar performers ever in my opinion.
On of the best concerts in 1977
Queen and Paul two legends !love them Forever!
The voice..
That voice is a gift from the Gods.
Fun fact. Paul was 71 years old at this gig. Amazing. I hope I look this good at this age, although that is only 5 years from now. 😊
Wow i had never heard of Paul Rodgers until i saw him with Queen on the UKcrain video what a great singer i love this song.
Dziękuje ,zespołowi za tak super muzykę ,50 lat są moimi Idolami ,i tego nie zmienię . .
