I just started playing again after having stopped sometime between '08. and 2010 (I was pretty young and only vaguely understood how to play). I was hoping to join a team to help give me a chance to make friends and ultimately grow as a player, but sadly most every team I can find requires at least one, if not three, recommendations from other players :(. What is a good way to make enough friends as to where I could ask them to be my recommendations? Thank you so much for all the work you put into this playlist btw, it's been an absolute lifesaver :) im on the us server as stigmata if anyone wants to help me out and friend me :D
Thank you :) generally get talking to players in forums, and generally on the game. It can be hard to get the references and it is something that takes time, it's literally like building relationships with other players whether it's sales ones or just a friendship. Being helpful in forums could also help you meet new players which might be helpful in the near future.
Two teams contacted me out of the blue. One wasn;t right for me as they wanted to BULP two foals on the day, and it was too stressful. I am in a team and even got me to more BULP, they less competive and lot friendlier. I never applied to these teams though.
