    I believe in an eye cream. I will spend my money on this product category with no reservation. It’s the one area aging is most visible. Retinal works a 11x faster than retinol and it’s also less irritating/non irritating for some.

    NIOD Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate isn’t a cream per se but I’ve never had better results to combat puffiness, darkness and fine lines. I know all products say they improve these woes but this product really does it for me. Only one drop between my fingers works for both eyes. I use it twice a day because the results are so significant. Thanks for suggestions for retinoid products to pair with the serum Kelly!

    As someone who has a dry face and very prone to millia on my eyes, I can’t use my face cream as my eye cream.
    I have to have a lighter cream. I’m ok with getting a lighter face cream for that but I haven’t had much luck doing that.
    I’ve actually found a couple eye creams I love. AHC youth lasting real eye cream for face is my holy grail 100%.
    The new Beauty of Joseon retinal and ginseng one seems to be good but I’m still trying that one. I only use that on my off nights because I can actually use my retinal on my eyes and neck. I have tried Dear Klairs but it’s not moisturizing enough, it’s a pain but I have to find a balance of I need it to be moisturizing but not thick enough to cause millia. I would love to try the Pyunkang Yul eye cream but that one looks like it might give me millia. Ehhh it’s a challenge. That’s why I’ll always have my HG AHC eye cream.

      All that said, it is good but I personally want an eye cream to help fine lines and plump more than anything. I don’t have any puffiness or dark circles.

    This video couldn't have come at a better time, my BoJ eye cream arrived yesterday! After all my years of being obsessed with skincare I've never actually used an eye cream, do you still apply your normal moisturiser to the eye area? And if you do, do you use the eye cream before or after moisturiser? So excited to use this, I've had great results from tret over the rest of my face, my eyes need some love too

    • @KellyDriscoll
      @KellyDriscoll  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Eye cream would go before moisturizer. I once heard it described like this " you wouldn't put your bra on over your shirt, so eye cream is that foundational product you would layer underneath moisturizer." It's a funny way to think of it but it makes sense! you don't have to use moisturizer on top if you don't want to but I usually do since I'm more prone to dryness in that area. Good luck with the BOJ!

    I'm always wondering how high is the risk with those retinol eye creams to damage the meibomian gland and develop dry eye, like it's probably wayyy higher if you use tretinoin there but the retinol eye creams are probably not a 100% safe either.

    You should review the goodal vegan rice milk toner, rovectin lotus toner, Mediheal baobab toner and anua heartleaf toner. Also if you like the illiyoon ceramide ato cream I think you’d like the aestura atobarrier lotion since it uses the same technology and has a more elegant texture. It’s just as occlusive for me but not as heavy as the illiyoon. I think this could work for people who found the illiyoon cream too heavy since it’s in between the texture of the cream and the lotion. It’s also oil free.
