I just bought this pen. I am relatively new to the hobby - although I got my first pen in 1973 - and you have guided me through this resurrected journey. I am up to about 20 pens in two months. Anyway, love this pen. I was a bit disappointed that it did not have the ratcheting converter like the Grande; but I will survive. Lol. Stay safe and keep reviewing pens.
David, Thank you for your video. Nicely done and enjoyable to watch! The Momento Zero has become one of my most favorite pens. I have the privilege of having 2 in my collection both were originally in a medium nib. They are now both in fine nibs. The quality of the pens are equal to anything else i own and are a joy to write with!! Once i resolved the nib issues...they now perform like a high performance writing instrument. Appleboom will be tune and smooth the pens except the Montblanc. I choose these based some of your reviews. I truly respect your knowledge you have and I hope someday to be as good as you are. Thanks David for this review... And it is the time to do writing...letters...journaling...story writing whatever takes your fancy. This pen is lovely the thing I don't care for is the blind cap and like you would ink up the pen using the converter to see how much ink is in there, but otherwise all good. The price seems OK too. I wish pen makers would use ebonite feeds though, if Nathan Tardif can turn them out on ALL his pens why can't this excellent feed material not be employed on more pens. I want to like mine, I really do. But the feed or the converter just seems to run out of juice:( I have to often prime the feed and this is really annoying!
I would recommend you just go out there. I don't know what the restrictions are in the US, but in Australia, people have been going outside for walks and stuff, and post offices count as an essential service anyway.

I added the Momento Zero Grande to my rotation around Christmas and fell in love with it. Mine's been a wonderful writer!

The Leonardo pens have become my favorite brand in their price point. I have 8 or 9 and find them to be great pens for the money.
You can just get a cheap moonman m800. Leonardo pens have nibs that are a hit or a miss

I have found both the steel and gold nibs for Leonardo to be fairly smooth. So, chances are your favorite size will work well for you.
While stationed at Fort Bragg in the 90’s I often went to Durham to visit my girlfriend. It was worth the trip.

The nib has that "pencil like" sound of a pilot steel nib.
