It's so strange how you paint spots that look random and meaningless until it all comes together in a beatiful flower. It's like you know what the painting looks like before its done.

Exactly what I feel whenever I watch him! It's like... magic.
I think we can all agree that Shibasaki-sensei is everyone's favorite watercolorist grandpa. You're brilliantly talented and you never say or do anything that makes your followers feel bad about themselves or their skill level. You just gently encourage, inspire and guide us along... You make us want to paint alongside you! It gives such a lovely, warm feeling to watch you work. ❤️

I love how you leave white paper for highlights. And the occasional flick with the back of your fingrnail to make a perfect line is brilliant! Thank you for a.good lesson and beautifl painting. 🌹🙋🏼♀️

You are the first watercolorist I’ve seen use a flat brush to paint flower petals. It makes so much sense to do so because of the edges petals have. I love your style and hope to learn much from you. Arigato!
