Its a movie from director Taika waititi. His movies, even the last two thor movies for disney/ marvel prove disney that he knows how to write & direct good movies.

Disney forgot that Marvel movies aint all about bigger bad cgi explosions etc. Like with the Transformers Movies where the good storytelling was replaced by more and more CGI effects. People watch movies to get excited by a good story and then the rest follows easyer. Taika brought a great new view with more fun and drama to this franchise. Making Marvel movies too serious is a waste of time like the dark knight trilogy showed us. Even the justice league and the last Superman movies were too serious for the viewers. They forgot that this Superhero moviea are supposed to be for younger Generations and not elders. Making only too much drama Superhero movies will destroy the franchise untill we are overeating of this boring storys where every hero is just serious faced suffering from their dividet personalitys and personal problems. Spiderman for example and Guardians of the galaxy brought more fun to it. Why not continuing making more fun and exciting movies in a world thats getting grimmer everyday. We have enough of Supervillians in real life and the cinema should be a place where you can exhale from all this global problems these days. And if you know Taikas work then you know he is a great storyteller that brings that back what Disney allready lost on their way to riches. The last Star Wars series and movies showed us that Disney lost their talent to tell great storys to lighten up a franchise. The world is serious, dangerous and psychotic enough, what we need are storys that brings us together with fun and laughter. The best weapon against evelish opponents.

Wonderful! Taika Watiti is a Maori Jewish filmmaker who brings both his beautiful cultures into his work. And yes, historically the best Christmas songs and specials were by Jewish songwriters.
I’m 73 yrs old and I have to admit I watched this from beginning to end and it brought back so many memories of me with my son and granddaughters. I have always been the biggest of Disney fans but recently some of the shows they have produced I would never let my child or grandchildren watch. So take a hint Disney get back to the wonder of bringing joy and dreams and amazement to the World. Take it from me WE could use it!!
