Flo and Eddie couldn't have predicted this rework coming... Not even if given a million guesses... 🤔... There's not one electric guitar...no french horn...no drum kit...no vocals... Not one turtle is to be found in here anywhere.🧐... 😏... Yet, it works...It works very v-e-r-y well!😉 🎶Busy b-u-s-y fingers, Jamie D🎶 Per usual - bass, rhythm and vocal lines all couch the iconic melody with those choice harmonies - All is packed in there beautifully. Another to awash your audience with memories of easier times, with that bewitching resonating draw... No doubts many will enjoy listening to it again and again. Top hat play and arrangement, Jamie.👌
Awesome, this song takes me back to when my heart was young and dreaming of a chance to win a special young lady's love. Thanks Jamie, have a safe and Blessed Day.
Now this is real music from my time and Jamie you nailed this perfectly. Takes me back to my young days as I listened to this great music on radio as well as the classic American Bandstand. Many of the great groups also often appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show i can still remember the first appearance of the Beatles back in 1964. I too loved The Turtles and many others. I would say about 1960 through about 1980 was the most influential music for me. Although i do have a love for the big band era of the 40's and 50's.
This song has special meaning to me! Always cry! My eider sister's boyfriend and her song! They we gonna marry! He left for Vietnam never came back! This song are my loving memories of him! A great man who never really lived but LOVED!
That was great! Brings back memories of being a teenager listening to AM Radio and hearing that song 20 times a day or more.... Imagine those days when that was on the top of everyone's request list😊
Anytime you want to play something from this era please, please do it! Hearing this has complete changed the tone of the day (and it needed to be changed) to "happy". Thank you once again for being right on time. Don't know how you do it, but I ain't gonna complain. 👍👍👍👍👍
No matter what songs you play I am literally wowed each and every time. There are a lot of talented guitarists on TH-cam but you are my absolute favorite! Also you play a Harp Guitar!!!!
I know you have been asked this before, but how do you decide what to play on your next video? I love that you follow so many genres of music! And just saying your Pink Floyd and the dobro playing is amazing thank you.
Thank you man! I hope to get back into some more slide work as well, I’ve always loved many different styles of music and I’ve studied classical, jazz, blues, country and metal to be versatile as much as possible!
I used to be friends on Facebook with your cousin Carole. She's lovely. Facebook took away my account unfortunately. She showed me your videos Can you play something from Gary Moore ? ❣️🙏
