Pretty much as already said, once you raise shop owners to 30 friendship and get wholesale on year 2 raising friendship will be a piece of cake. Raising trust is even easier since you can trick Esty into giving you at least one quest you have an item for already, plus she's less picky about details. The hardest part IMO was probably raising alchemy level to 50, and raising all NPC's to 100 friendship. Getting their individual trophies is simple.
I really enjoy the game and don't mind doing repetitive things. I just have to get used to doing quest for the town, the store owners and leveling up at the same time.
You can only get one ending per playthrough but what you can do is make multiple save points to save time from restarting. Once you get one ending you can just reload to a previous point and play to achieve another ending.
