Oh man I love this game. It was the first game I got with my Genesis for I think my birthday and even now as an adult I still play it from time to time because it's so short but it's FUN and that's the most important part for me. I still remember stumbling onto the hidden optional fight against Lord Zedd and having my mind blown.
I found the timing of the different jump attacks easier to execute in this then in Turtles in Time. The charge attack was a nice touch even though it can be cheese at times. Good point about the rangers not being in civies. It would have been cool to start that way and have to get the Ninja powers. Purple Predators were a great Putty alternative.
Really? Hmmm maybe its because I've played TMNT millions of times that it's just built in for me now. Yeah, I would have loved to get to play as the ninja rangers, but whatever. I'm more sad about all the enemies left out.
I remember being stuck in 1 spot in this game. Where you need to break a rock in the cave. Wasnt very obvious so i just fought enemies until time run out.
This is my favorite 90s Power Rangers game. It partially avoids the IMO biggest pitfall of the SNES movie game. Namely being based on the movie set around the end of season two and beginning of season three it uses that late season two replacement rangers while some Genesis levels use the replacements and others the originals. Two of my three favorites of the original five were replaced and neither the Black Ranger or Yellow Ranger replacements was as good as the original IMO though at at least the new Red Ranger was an improvement over the original who was at the time my least favorite of the original five. Though part of Zeo later gave that least favorite slot to Kimberly who is still my least favorite female ranger in the franchise.
I don't think the rangers individually make much of a difference in this game regardless of which actors went with so it doesn't really amount to much for me.
@@InfiniteComboReviews I have that one to . I have over 180,000 games on my emulator I bought off Amazon lol every game for every system up to Dreamcast lol and that one is very hard the SNES version but the Sega one is way better as the original power rangers better on snes

Yeah, funny thing about the Lord Zedd fight. I didn't know it was optional until I was an adult because I always ended up fighting him.
