Best video ever! The fact that you did a visual walk through was so very helpful. I had been stumbling upon the question at 11:00 where it asked if you’ve visited before. I received an EVisa in 2020 but of course we all know what happened during the year of the pandemic. Your video showed that you can just select “no” and it won’t require you to enter the old EVisa number below. I wasn’t sure if I had to enter an old EVisa that I never got to use and long since expired due to Covid (I didn’t want to cause confusion or questions). I tried contacting their help desk but got different answers. Your video literally answered my question! Thank you!!!
I did this and 10 days later I'm still waiting for my application to be resolved. I'm a day away from my flight and I have not received my visa yet. If you are reading this, PLEASE, do not leave it til the last minute and apply as soon as you can. I certainly don't recommend you the level of anxiety I'm going through right now, without a clue if I'm going to be able to travel or not. Peace and love x

I was born in Srilanka not very far away from India but never got to visit India mainly I moved to UK in my young age. Im planning to visit India in April for the first time with my family. Im supper excited. E- visa only allow me to apply 30 days prior to the arrival date. Therefore, im still waiting to apply for the visa. Thank you for this video. All the Best mate 👍
Good presentation. It CAN be as straightforward as you suggest but submitting a pdf of passport page less that 300kb caused me enormous difficulty and I am not alone looking online. If you are visiting a second time you are required to list all the places visited previously plus the address of first stop. You are also required to list all countries visited in last 10 years. If you save and come back to complete the application the question about whether you have grandparents with Pakistani connections always defaults back to ‘yes’. If the answer is no make sure you change it!
Hello. I agree with you that changing the size of the photo makes things complicated. It definitely did for me and I needed to ask for help. Thanks for sharing your experience regarding the granparents in Pakistan. ;-)
It does NOT defalt to "Yes," there is a pop-up that you must close then you can switch to "no," try another browser, you probably have pop-ups blocked--that locks you out as the system wants you to click OK on the darned pop-up.

Hey mate! Thanks for so useful video! Keep the good work! I have a question. Do you know if it's fine to have visa photo 50mm x 50mm and use it to upload for visas application to countries with requirements 35mm x 45mm? Does this simply mean that I have to have a minimum of 35mm x 45mm and it can be more or does it have to be exactly this size? Thanks for everything, cheers!
Just upload a higher size photo the system now have a cropping option just drag the cropping tool to it is full margin it will be adjusted and resized accordingly

Hi m flying from the 22 October and I will b arriving on 23 October at 4am But application summary shows me Expected date of journey is 23 October 2024 so Is the date right or wrong Because m flying from London on 22 October plz help me
Thanks! I applied for a 30 day visa for my Italian passport holder wife. We had noted intended date of arroval as 14th feb. We applied for the evisa on the 15th of Jan. They issued an evsa today with the ETA expiring on 15th feb! It does not make any sense. Why would they ask an intended date of arrival and then give a ETA which expires literally the next day of the travel! If there are any flight delays etc, she would likely be denied entry i think! Any thoughts?
Thank you for the information. I just got one question. If i am leaving from my country on february 8th 2024 and arrive at Delhi on february 9th 2024 I should write february 9th 2024 when they ask expected date of arrival right? Or is it better for some reason to write february 8th? Will I get trouble on the aiport in my country for any of these?
You can apply for a 1 year evisa upto 120 days before your expected date of travel. You'll need an expected date of travel to input in your application.
Hello, thank you for this informative video. I have been struggling for the past 2 days because every time i get to the information where it says enter parents info, it keeps going back to it and all the data is gone. I have tried various platforms like firefox, safari, my mobile phone and even started. afresh new application with the hopes that this would make a difference. I noticed some people faced similar issue but yet to see any solutions. Pleaseeeee help!
I have one other question. As i am applying visa today. And I put arrival date 10th of next month. Is there my e-visa 30 days Count from next month 10th day.
Hey, thanks for the info! Do I understand correctly that once the visa is granted and issued (roughly 72 hours post-submission) is when the visa time starts? Or does it start at the date that you declare you'll be arriving? Of course it would be ideal if it started at the date you declare you'll be arriving,.. because otherwise I'd want to push the application submission as close to the date of departure as possible (to gain as much time as possible to stay). This would even lead me to be hesitant to book the flight, you know? Who knows, maybe its rejected and you're out of luck with the cost of the flight and also your life plans have to change, etc.

Hi The question on 8:09 ...have you live in the country for 2 years you are applying the visa for....i am from Singapore n never been to India before...so I key in as 'No.'.. ? they are referring to India or my country as you mentioned in your website that you keep in your 'yes '
I tried to see if someone else has asked the question and I couldn't find it in the comments. In the video you say that you do not have a hotel booked and then later you specify a hotel in the Reference Name. When you did it for real did you just pick a random hotel or did you actually have a hotel booked?
I'm visiting India for the first time from the UK in February for a month. Really useful info, thank you
You're welcome. I hope you enjoy your trip.
You book any hotel and flight tickets for visa? Or without booking hotel and flight they give visa? Because I also want to apply
No need to show proof of flights or hotel booking.

Thank you for this. Went trough all steps. But I did not see any payment window. Do I receive a payment link later? The application was filled in 20 hours ago, and did receive the PDF file.

Hello. If your trip will be less than 30 days you will apply for a 30 day visa. The earliest you can apply is 30 days beofe your date of travel.

Hi, I have a question. When I am check in on flight website. What I need to add in document number and expiry date. Because this e visa starts only after arrival in India. So, which expiry date I need to add. Thanks
There is an expiry date on your visa. This is the date that you must enter India before.
@@AlwaysonaJourney is eta number is my visa number for India. Which I can enter in check-in details. My eta expires on 14 feb 2024. My flight is on 12. I will reach there on 13.
@BhupinderSinghRai ETA number is your visa number and the date it expires is the correct date to use.
What university did you attend that offered courses on getting an indian visa? Was it a four or three year course?

I used a white background for my application.

How early can one apply for the E-Visa, i.e., how far ahead of the arrival in India?
For a 30 day visa, you can apply 30 days before you travel. For a one year visa, you can apply upto 120 days before you travel.
30 days seems like a tight timeframe in the event that something goes wrong, and especially in my case since I'll be traveling to other countries before entering India.
Therefore, should I consider applying for the one year visa, solely because of the longer lead time?
@@JohnMaxwell-mj6vs It's upto you. For me, I think 30 days is enough time as it usually takes less than 5 business days to process an application.
"Have you lived for at least two years in the country when you are applying visa* ? I never been in India. Which answer ? Thanks

Thanks. To be honest, I can't remember now. I think I've left some photo instructions in the description.
Just upload a higher size photo the system now have a cropping option just drag the cropping tool to it is full margin it will be adjusted and resized accordingly
super helpful man, thank you! I do have a couple of questions, where is says have you lived in the country your applying from for 2 years! Hi m flying from the 22 October and I will b arriving on 23 October at 4am
But application summary shows me
Expected date of journey is 23 October 2024 so
Is the date right or wrong
Because m flying from London on 22 October plz help me
If it's a one monh visa, hatt is correct. Your 30 days starts from your date of arrival.

If i am leaving from my country on february 8th 2024 and arrive at Delhi on february 9th 2024 I should write february 9th 2024 when they ask expected date of arrival right? Or is it better for some reason to write february 8th? Will I get trouble on the aiport in my country for any of these?
You would need to put the 9th.

What if I don't have an expected date of arrival? I want to get a 1-year e-visa but don't know when I'm going to travel. Is that a problem?
You can apply for a 1 year evisa upto 120 days before your expected date of travel. You'll need an expected date of travel to input in your application.

I have been struggling for the past 2 days because every time i get to the information where it says enter parents info, it keeps going back to it and all the data is gone. I noticed some people faced similar issue but yet to see any solutions. Pleaseeeee help!

I have one other question. As i am applying visa today. And I put arrival date 10th of next month. Is there my e-visa 30 days Count from next month 10th day.
Yes. With a 30 day visa, the 30 days starts on the day that you arrive.
@@AlwaysonaJourney ok thanks
The 30 day visa starts from date of arrival. The 1-year via starts from the date of approval
Thanks ❤ I was about to comment the same@@AlwaysonaJourney

Hi
The question on 8:09
...have you live in the country for 2 years you are applying the visa for....i am from Singapore n never been to India before...so I key in as 'No.'.. ? they are referring to India or my country as you mentioned in your website that you keep in your 'yes '
It refers to your home country.
I am travelling in February 2025, application form dropdown only allows April and May 2024. Cant get any further . Any suggestions please ?
The earliest you can apply is 120 days before departure for a 1 year visa or 30 days before departure for a 30 day visa.
I tried to see if someone else has asked the question and I couldn't find it in the comments. In the video you say that you do not have a hotel booked and then later you specify a hotel in the Reference Name. When you did it for real did you just pick a random hotel or did you actually have a hotel booked?
Hello. For the reference. I used the name of the hotel I planned to stay at. At the time of applying for the visa, I hadn't booked a hotel.
