We do concrete and waterproofing ,We had a 304 then traded in for a 305 last year and Today Boss said My 305 going bye And pick up 306 next week 👍🇺🇸 such great improvement's .
I know it’s a lot more money bet maybe look into a power tilt hitch, best of both worlds ,so there is no hoses to tilt buckets and a quick attach hitch point ,quick bucket changes .awesome for plumbing and digging footings on a bank or slope.if I had my own this would be what I would have.
Extremely informative and very good job there brother! I would love to have one this size, it would be perfect size for my outfit however I don't think I've ever had so many choices and all my life LOL I might have to go to school to learn how to operate it
Thinking about mini’s and the 306 is on the top of the list. Looking for some videos of the 306 lifting heavy stuff, can you make that happen? Best walk around video I have seen yet! A video of it working hard, a nice clearing job or something would be appreciated. Thanks.
I’ll do my best!! Thank you for the nice comment! I’ll see if I can get a video of breaking up concrete washout and bulking material, for being compact and still a “mini” it still impresses me everyday I run it with what the little power horse can do!
I have a 301.8 next generation and it didn’t come with a radio. Do you know if it can be downloaded through software or if it’s a big deal to add the Bluetooth and radio?
Just curious what your avg for fuel consumption ? Another question when you say the undercarriage is the same as the 305.5 , did they at least up the diameter/ heft of the slew bearing from the 305.5? Back to fuel use I've got a Volvo ec60e that I've now got about 1200 hrs on mainly takeing out cherry trees . Running it at 1750 rpm which is plenty fast for me my on board fuel use meter saying .9 gal /HR . To me that's pretty amazing for the amount of work it can do in an hour on only A gallon or less. That cat does appear to be darn nice . Is your muffler weld holding up?
At 15600lbs that's a 7 metric ton plus machine . Really not even comparable to the 305.5 or any other make of 5-6 ton excavators. Why didn't cat call it a 307 which in reality it is? Marketing ploy? Looks to be a nice machine though. Great job on the review
The 307 is closer to 18k now, all the new stuff isn’t close to their numbers on the machines anymore, 320s are anywhere from 50-55k…. When they released it they basically said it’s the new 305.5, only thing that is changed is the car body, undercarriage is all the same. Even if it weighs 3-4k more and is a tad bit bigger on the car body if your a good enough operator you can put it in the same spots you can put a 305. Thank you for the feedback!!
Great video! I'm looking at one of these right now. This is good info. Nice looking Ford in the driveway!
Thank you!!
That’s my baby, 79’ on 35s, 460 4 speed auto, about to throw some headers on her and let er eat!
Yeah, I've had several of the older Fords 67 and up and I love them.
I was going to say ,the slow speed setting is good for locating or digging around live services .you covered it though .

Just about to pull the trigger on one. Have you seen the XTC set up for this machine?
Which hydraulic coupler did you eventually get?
How is the machine working now?
