Agreed. From what I see, other tanks right now have some sort of pressure or near guaranteed CC that sets them apart. Sion is is just a ball of stats that only someone with half a brain would get hit by any of his skills. As with Assassin Sion, look at just how many times people just flash or dash out of it. Without damage, he literally is too ignorable and when killing him turns him into a threat, why do it? Bauss beats people over the head with a sack of gold. Buying a Bamis will not let him do that better. Buying Dirk or even Tiamat does (when he goes his bruiser build).
Tank Sion is great in lower Elos where kiting looks more like running face first into the enemy and they don't build for the big threats; usually just having a set build. But even in the mid Elos, Gold through Emerald? When tank Sion rolls into the fight the enemies just scatter like roaches when the lights turn on. Then, because you've built Heartsteel, your hitbox is the size of the moon, so you can't dodge any CC that comes your way. Baus is playing in Masters+...tank Sion is going to lose more often than not because Sion just sucks as a champion.
they did the riot classic, release broken items (heartsteal, sunfire, titanic, hullbreaker), nerf champ into the ground because they use broken items well (sion), then nerf the broken items into the ground without any compensation buffs for the champion they just kneecapped

Try lethality movement speed + overlords as your only "tanky" item. At full hp around lvl 15 it gives around 70 ad (and of course 550 extra hp), but when you drop to 50% hp it will give another 23ish ad, below 70% its 40 extra ad.

With Jhin ult, if you land the first shot it slows them significantly, which allows you to land your other 3 shots easier if you do them in quick succession. The longer you take after each shot, the harder it will be to land it.
