@pkava1079 Thanks for your feedback. Right now the HD500 only supports 22 amp models. I'm not sure if we'll expand this moving forward but I'll certainly note your feedback to our developers.
Good stuff. However to me the really cool stuff is using both mags and models on the JTV into seperate amp/fx chains on the POD with or without the DT50. 12 string acoustic on one side with strat throuch ac30 with delay and mod on the other etc.
@dougnval Thanks for the notes! We will take that into consideration for future videos. Is there anything in particular that we could help you with understanding? Thanks!
@drdamski if you want TRUE stereo then yes. That would be the same for the Vetta as well. If you got the DT50 212 it would pretty much be exactly the same as your Vetta.
@dougnval Not at all, really appreciate your comment. I think you would enjoy visiting our Line 6 forums where you will find people using the POD HD in church bands that might have some great advice. go to line6 (dot) com /discussions. Thanks :)
@EnzoHeavenly OK thanks for clarifying. I don't have that information so I apologize for that. There are rules of thumb for building your signal chain. The most top level is try to keep your dynamic and distortion effects pre amp and your mods, delays, and reverbs post amp. You should visit out support forums and ask some other users for tips on how they set up their chains as well. It's a good resource.
@EnzoHeavenly Well, I meant any of the patches he is using for these demos :O I would like to see where he puts (let's say) the Noise Gate in the chain and where he may add delay and other FXs. In other words, to learn how should I build my signal chain. One of the patches I like is the one he is using at 3:02.
Great demo. Just bought the HD500 and am very impressed. Plan on buying a DT50 soon. But, one thing. What happened to some of my favorite amp models that I always enjoyed on my X3-Live and X3 Pro like the Bogner XTC and the Deizel VH4. There were so many more model that were really unique in these units. Are there any plans to upgrade the HD units with more amp models. Also No Bass model :-( ???
I currently use vetta and can run two virtual amps in stereo. If I switched to POD HD500 + DT50 would I effectively need 2 DT50s (as in this exampl) to produce stereo sounds? Thanks.
What is the expression pedal that you guys all use on these demos for "dream rig" and why aren't any of you using the line 6 expression pedal that's listed on your website?
@line6movies Hi,,hope my comment above didn't read like criticism (it wasn't, these vids are great). I think the challenge with non-pro musicians like myself is understanding what effects and amp models/tones are appropriate where. The line 6 product is brilliant and can do just about anything but the sheer volume of different amp and effect models included is overwhelming. The only amp sounds i'm familiar with are Marshall, Fender, Vox. (btw, I am guitarist for a church rock band)
great video but gotta say,,,you guys need to "dumb it down" a bit for the layman thats watching this. This fella clearly knows his stuff but talks way too fast and uses so much industry insider proprietary code/language in this vid that there is no way to follow it unless you (the viewer) are also an industry insider who speaks this language fluently. I watched it with the intent of learning something but instead came away totally intimidated.

Is there any way to get at least some of these presets? I mean... it's easier to read what it has that to make it sound alike in the HD500 :P
@leerat69 yes Lee. If you have it connected to the POD, you can program the POD to tell the guitar to do that when you hit a foot switch.
@Dudewithagoldtop that would be fine. PODs are preamps and work with all amplifiers.
@Scarfaion You'll need to pick up an XLR or AES/EBU cable for L6 LINK connectivity as those cables don't come with the amp, POD, or JTV.
Any chance to post your presets on customtone and write link here?

Hi - am I understanding correctly that you can change the tuning on the fly? Without tuning the strings? Thanks, Lee

Kyle LaFave The one in this video is a Mission Engineering exp pedal
@duilkin We are working on stuff for bassists as well. Can't say when. I am a bass player, so I am dying for it as well.
i think the brown sound at the end was a little bright but other than that it was almost spot on

Btw, do you need some help translating the captions to Spanish? I could help with it :D
At first I`ve thought he had a big ass mole on his neck... Great sound though!
