@@wendykirby631 Look at the Ryan Ferguson case, a college student whose fragile buddy got him arrested, convicted, and 10 years in prison for murder one.
Exactly. That’s why, even when a person pleads guilty, the judge asks for credible evidence that they committed the crime, before sentencing them. I knew someone who took the rap for her brother, when he hotwired a car, cause he was on parole. It was her “first offense,” so it was really sad.
I'm french and there's a famous case like this, Patrick Dils confessed a crime he didn't commit ( killing two children) was condemned stayed several years in prison and later they found the real culprit. I disagree with JSP on this point.
Remember the only confirmed male DNA was said to be from the lab, which includes all LE on scene, etc. The 40 caliber bullet not found loose on the ground but impacted in the dirt suggests it was there for a while, or recently had been stepped on. Were any of these officers' guns and ammo accounted for that were at the scene?
This may be this first time I’ve disagreed with JSP. I think the important aspect of this case is RA should have never been placed in prison in the first place, and also-he was not in solitary confinement because he broke a prison rule, he was just…there. It’s a very different situation than a typical prisoner’s seg stay. I am still waiting to see if evidence sways me to guilty or not (trying), but his initial incarceration was horribly wrong. If it were me and I was actually innocent, I’d go insane.
Yeah it was definitely outside the box they'd send him straight there but maybe in the area the county jail couldn't offer what they felt warranted his safety but im sure it was high priority they make sure he lasted long enough to make it to this trial after how long it took to get this case to a point where they think they have the culprit and justice can be served and im sure his comfort wasn't on the top of the priority list here given what he is accused of but I guess really they can do as they please with inmates once they've been arrested
Yeah, I agree. Once a person is CONVICTED and has been sentenced, all these things might naturally flow from that decision. The issue in this case is the first act: not having fair representation/day in court. We will never be able to rightly say if he genuinely broke or didn’t in that environment. Like other attorneys have said, you want to have a fair trial without shenanigans to KNOW that you got the right person.
I'm sincerely just curious.... no shade here.... do you disagree with JSP's personal experience? That he thinks it's strange and weird that RA was sent to prison not being convicted? Or JSP's personal experience with what he saw when he was in solitary confinement? Asking bc I genuinely viewed JSP's thoughts as 'this is what I know about solitary confinement behavior.' And for the record, I DO think something is fishy with the judge and the fact that RA was sent to prison without being convicted. That doesn't make any sense to me. And to add, I've followed JSP as long as I've followed LL. Big respect for both!!
Oh I actually never said he was there bc he broke a rule. I never said it was normal that he is treated this way in terms of him not being convicted. I responded to the questions of if it’s normal procedures to treat people in solitary confinement the way she described.. putting the fact that he shouldn’t be there in the first place to the side. Looks like we agreed all along.
Nothing made sense about this case until Richard Allen confessed. For example, us sleuths were wondering why Libby was naked and not s'ad. However, after he confessed, made more sense b/c of the van

He’s speaking to this situation as if RA understood everything about prison as much as he did. He’s also speaking as though he’s a mental health expert. Lots of “probably” is not the same as what occurred.
Lee, thanks for the collaboration with JSP. My takeaway is that prison culture causes inmates, guards, and staff to look at every behavior as being strategically motivated to gain some small advantage. This really sheds tremendous light on why so many DOC staff immediately took and held the position that RA was just acting psychotic. Prison systems are really a universe of their own, and in my view inmates and DOC staff are like the cat and the mouse. Both are operating on the same level of eat or be eaten, and in my mind I think the DOC creates much of its own problems.
I have been listening to Lawyer Lee since she started going to the Delphi case. I have to say she gives so much GREAT information. Shes so sweet, and makes watching updates a breeze!
@nickyjones867 Respectfully, I don't think you're familiar with Lawyer Lee's channel. To clarify, I believe RA is guilty and that justice has been served. That said, I understand why people with knowledge of how the law and trials work had issues with the prosecution (even tho I strongly agree with Allen's guilt) However, Lawyer Lee is an attorney, not a journalist. She's not just giving her personal opinions-she's explaining the legal process and the reasoning behind what’s happening in the courtroom that day. When covering the prosecution, she explained their actions and intentions, and she does the same with the defense. She provides unbiased legal commentary on the trial (feel free to go back and watch her coverage of the prosecution and tell me where she is biased, I'd like to know because my _'bias detector'_ did not go off with lawyer Lee, It did go off with Åndrea tho-- she's a snake). If she brought Jump Suit Pablo onto this show, clearly unprepped with talking points, and discovered things that contradicted the defense’s narrative, doesn’t that suggest something to you? It would be easy to manipulate a narrative, but that's not what she’s doing.
@@nickyjones867 Hi again, I just recently listened to lawyer Lee's "what's next video" and I admit that she sounded bias in it. I kept trying to remind myself when I was listening to her that she is a defense attorney and so her entire channel is about defense attorney stuff but she's absolutely pandering to her audience and saying stuff like, "It's not about if we think RA is guilty it's about if it is proven beyond a reasonable doubt" which I guess is in the area of a lawyer TH-cam channel but... She could admit that he seems guilty but it doesn't meet the standards of law and trials. :/ (amongst a lot of other stuff) She is definitely swinging for the appeal team which I heard rumors this whole trial cost 4 million so by a career standpoint it's great to bat for the defense team because they're getting paid by taxpayers nyah Long story short I concede but she is better than most

Lawyer Lee, I would be happy to give you a fuller picture of the complex issue of conditions of confinement and solitary confinement. I am a criminal justice researcher and have interviewed over 6,000 prisoners in 22 states, including inmates on Death Row. My focus is specifically on access to health and mental health care and conditions of confinement in jails, prisons and ICE. I realize not everyone has this kind of experience; but this guest is accusing someone he does not know of "malingering". Allen may be guilty of a heinous murder; but in his conditions of confinement violate every international law and the US constitution. Prosecute him fairly and sentence him properly. If my studies interest you, they can be found online under my name. My brother was murdered, and I forced three changes in DA's to get the killer punished so I am not pro-defense, I'm pro legal prosecution. Reply
I pray that their brutal murders do not get lost in the RA inhumane treatment line. RA can be guilty and have been treated poorly. They are not exclusive of each other!
I understand a false confession under his circumstances. There are false confessions in interrogations that last a day. So, understandable the way he was treated even more.
Treat people like animals and they'll behave like animals. This is why people who go to prison often go on to reoffend. If you weren't traumatised beforehand you will be after. How can you exist in that system and then come out and be a normal person who contributes to society? Look at WM3 Damien Echols. He was on death row long term solitary, he described his experience as "pure hell". Similar crime as well. Edit: Damien Echols was in solitary confinement for a decade.
Exactly my thought. It's such an inhumane system. It's simply not meant to release people anymore to society, very different from the European system for instance where rehabilitation is the main goal .

Thank u a thousand times agree I’m stoping watching early.
Asking bc I genuinely viewed JSP's thoughts as 'this is what I know about solitary confinement behavior.'
And for the record, I DO think something is fishy with the judge and the fact that RA was sent to prison without being convicted.
This guest gave amazing perspective! Thank you!
Nothing made sense about this case until Richard Allen confessed. For example, us sleuths were wondering why Libby was naked and not s'ad. However, after he confessed, made more sense b/c of the van
Her nakedness IS a SA all by itself, penetration not required to meet that standard
this is a really important conversation, and you chose a great person to interview. thank you!
You do an awesome job keeping the notes and sharing everything with us.
And Abby and Libby’s killer sitting back laughing about getting away with it!
Maybe more than one killer sitting back and laughing...
@@christineoosthuizen4388definitely more than one
No he’s not. He’s being weird in court daily. There is no one else there.
I agree with u. As someone from Indiana. I’m ashamed of the judge
@@esk2gyeah it might be able to get away with it because the prosecutions cases weak and the defense is having a hay day with red herrings and confusing distractions :(
This is so eye opening! Thank you for having Jump Suit Pablo on!
Today's testimony...a good example of why it's so important to reserve judgment until all the evidence and testimony is in. Thank, Lawyer Lee.
Why is that? I'm curious.

It was interesting to hear what Jumpsuit Pablo had to say. I think we need to remember JSP doesn’t know all the details of the case.
Just one man’s opinion but it was disheartening to see how deflated Lawyer Lee looked after his responses. 😢
Pretty sure he knows more then u think and he knows RA is guilty! He is a very smart and logical man. That's why everyone loves him!
He’s speaking to this situation as if RA understood everything about prison as much as he did. He’s also speaking as though he’s a mental health expert. Lots of “probably” is not the same as what occurred.
I'm at work and missed the "live" so have to watch recap. But happy it's available. Thanks, Lee. You rock!
Just love your show Lee, thank you for all your terrific invite. 🇨🇦🇨🇦
I have been listening to Lawyer Lee since she started going to the Delphi case. I have to say she gives so much GREAT information. Shes so sweet, and makes watching updates a breeze!
Jumpsuit Pablo is amazing! Thank you for sharing. This was invaluable and insightful Lawyer Lee you're an unbiased saint of integrity
She is certainly not unbiased. She clearly agrees with the defence
@nickyjones867 Respectfully, I don't think you're familiar with Lawyer Lee's channel. To clarify, I believe RA is guilty and that justice has been served. That said, I understand why people with knowledge of how the law and trials work had issues with the prosecution (even tho I strongly agree with Allen's guilt)
However, Lawyer Lee is an attorney, not a journalist.
:/ (amongst a lot of other stuff)
She is definitely swinging for the appeal team which I heard rumors this whole trial cost 4 million so by a career standpoint it's great to bat for the defense team because they're getting paid by taxpayers nyah
Long story short I concede but she is better than most
@@shoe_thompsano hey! Thankyou for your reply. I think my issue is that I have always believed he is guilty, but I have not ever been able to give my view as you get attacked instantly! I’m just disappointed that people like her are clearly agreeing with the defence. I don’t know if you know ‘grizzly true crime’? She is another one I have so much respect for, but she is openly saying she thinks he is innocent. She has always been unbiased and for the victims. It disappointed me so much!!! I feel Lawyer Lee is almost disappointed in this video that JSP is saying all these things are normal!!!
Honestly, this case has really got to me. I think I need to take a bit of time out as it shouldn’t be affecting me so much. I just cannot imagine the terror those sweet girls went through, and the pain their families have to live with. It’s made me so defensive in my viewpoint.
Sorry for the essay! And again, Thankuou for replying. I really appreciate how polite you are as people can be so vile if you state your view
Great episode. Great guest. Very enlightening. 👍

Glad you had on jSP , Lee! I think he is very well spoken, intelligent & certainly had alot of interesting perspectives to share
Thank you for bringing JSP in. We see thru our own experiences lens and is good to hear from someone that has been in the system.
This is going to be a great video. I can tell already. 😊😊
Lawyer Lee is on the kiosk, I'm here for it!
My condolences to all of Abby and Libby families and friends, may God comfort them always.
I pray that their brutal murders do not get lost in the RA inhumane treatment line. RA can be guilty and have been treated poorly. They are not exclusive of each other!
Love JSP and Kiosk club 😍 great that you have him on Lawyer Lee 👏👏
I understand a false confession under his circumstances. There are false confessions in interrogations that last a day. So, understandable the way he was treated even more.
JSP isn’t making a decision on guilt or innocence, he is specifically discussing prison and normal or not normal things. He has experience and knows.
Outstanding guest (and host)❤
This is GREAT info! Thank you special guest!
It's simply not meant to release people anymore to society, very different from the European system for instance where rehabilitation is the main goal
.
I love jumpsuit he is such a great guy. I’m thrilled he’s turned his life around, he has so much to offer to the world.

I love that ! LET HIM ANSWER!!!!HELLO JURY👍👍👍👍
Dude they left him in solitary confinement for 13 months that ain't regular
Yes it is with high Profile cases. Scott Peterson, Charlie Adelson, Lori Vallow, Chad Daybell were only to name a few. What do you think the outcry would be if Allen would have been harmed by other inmates or did something to himself?!
@@2manyjulesthey were held in solitary confinement in a prison before their trials as well? I didn't realize prison when presumed innocent was ever an option before this trial. Crazy.
@@rosebwell no but in jail explain to me were is rhe difference in both cases he would be held in a cell by himself... did you ever watch a docu about Prison and jails there is no difference when held in Segregation, on S Watch or in Solitary. Normally in Solitary you don't have a tablet. Like Pablo said there would be only a minimal difference between Prison and Jail Solitary.
@@rosebwell I don't say this treatment is right for any inmate I only say RA wasn't treated worse than any other High profile detainee especially with his charges it happens all the time... He was mo exception only the Name of the institution is different

The topic talked about normally isn't my bag, but he made a lot of sense (YT won't like that haha) and straightened a lot of things out about the procedures RA was living with.
Thanks Lee, and parachute man 😊
Edit-not parachute, jumpsuit lol sorry
Good show, it's just a shame that jsp couldn't take a step back and acknowledge that RA,isn't convicted yet.
And shouldn't be put in the same situation that people like us put ourselves in..
I believe I mentioned many times how weird it was he was there before being convicted if he ends up being convicted at all. You may have missed that part though and that’s where the confusion is.
@jumpsuitpablo sorry you're having to read knee jerk criticisms of people that don't know much but think they do. :/ I guess just be true to yourself because you're doing things right and appealing to these types won't do any good or something

Always enjoy watching JSP!!
Thanks so much for this video. I really hope it opened some eyes & ears to the topics at hand. It was very insightful to me, I'm seeing things in a slightly different light.
Richard Allen’s defense team would not want Jumpsuit testifying
Oh my what treat having JSP as a guest! Im part of the Kiosk Klub, we appreciate this! Btw im a subscriber to your channel 😊 Always awesome!
Unsentenced people sent to prison from County Jail are called "safekeepers". Usually in bright yellow jumpsuits in NC Or SC. Kept in segregation and held for medical needs. Psych needs, or special protection. Hope that helps.

Thank you for being there and reporting on this. You're doing a noble thing! ❤❤❤
RA never said he parked at the CPS building. LE claims he said he was parked there. There’s no recording of him saying that.
Thank you. I hate it when they get things wrong and don’t care. Misinformation can kill people.
This was very helpful from JSP to understand the context better… sounds like the process to GET into those conditions was not standard, but the procedures used once he was there aren’t unusual. A great reminder of why prison reform is needed
Great guest tonight! Let’s go JDP!!

So we've heard from people in the courtroom the a juror had an outburst during questioning and told the prosecution "let him answer!"
Oh man I've been waiting all day to hear your take on this
WHAT???
Wonderful!!! Finally!!!
That did not happen, if it had the juror would have been dismissed.
It was an attorney who said that during witness testimony.
Dianealcorn, I heard hidden true crime say it happened during her noon update. She said it was a juror and that he looked sort of horrified as soon as it popped out of his mouth.
Yup heard that too
