When I was a kid in the early 2000's my parents took me and my siblings to Schloss Beck a handful of times. All I can say is that this place is magical. Inside the manor part (the Schloss part) there were puppets and a strange collection of artefacts. I remember spending hours exploring the manor and then going on of of those 3D rides they had stationed by the entrance. The food was super tacky yet perfect for a child. It was one of those places that look strange on paper but once you went in, it would all make sense. So many happy memories...
I feel that, all your carrying on as adults on these self propelled swings and play ground type rides has opened the door to and a realization that >>>>>>>>>>>>>>SHIT we all need to have that fun and never should have stopped. I LOVED it :)
+tori smith Theres a quite big German Theme Park, called Movie Park and right next to it, there is this theme park for kids, it was founded by the owner of the castle 'Schloss Beck'.
Hi. We're planning to go there this weekend with our 4 year old daughter. I was looking for some videos to see if this place is great for kids but after seeing your video i'm really looking forward to have some fun as an adult, too. Great that you're sharing little parks like that. Greetings from Germany
This is kinda what American playgrounds used to be like in the 1980s and earlier before the liability-free plastic stuff, sans the Luna Loop and other mechanical stuff.
+Nick Wilde Look out we have a wild pussy on the loose, in his natural habitat... In front of the keyboard... This is not an American park and they don't have many idiot lawyers ambulance chasing, also the people are less sensitive than they are in my country #MuricaIsSensitive
Its in germany therefore no lawsuits. These rides are also dangerous therefore it's a park mostly for little kids because kids are braver and can take damage from falling better.
fun fact = this park is like 200 feet next to former Warner Bros. Movie World, Germany, but it's actually much more fun if you got some pals around... ;D
I finally got around to making a TH-cam account and I can't help but I wish these self-operating rides were also here in the U.S., though there's probably some laws that'll prevent them from ever appearing in a park anytime soon. Also, given your public safety announcement, I may start wearing a cuff whenever I go to a theme park, though it may be a good idea to wear one whenever I'm outside the house.
i miss parks like this, used to go to them all the time during my summers... sigh... ah well! ^^ will just have to take my kids then when i have some haah
A place where adults can be kids. Sign me up!😄
Thats so cool. The fact that its very simple but everyone is having tons of fun is great to see.
