Started using these last year and took a deer with them. Great blood trail. I took them to Hawaii and took two goats and had great results (a'a lava rock did eat a few but the amazing warranty has me ready for elk this year). Great heads, great company, and OUTSTANDING customer service. They have a customer for life. I will advise anyone who asks to give them a shot
One of my all time favorite broadheads! It performed exceptionally well as I expected it would. Hard to beat a Magnus head with the warranty and the price tag. Awesome job John.
I used to use these or the buzzcuts for my recurve/longbow. They are awesome. I have used the warranty in the past as well. Magnus is a stand-up company.
This head has been my go to for the last handful of years. I see so many guys on the search for something better. I just keep adding to my triple digit kill total with this head. It just works in every measurable aspect of a broadhead, and works extremely well. Thanks for the video.
After lots of research, this was the head I selected last year after transitioning from a mechanical. I did buff the blades for a bit of added sharpness and had fantastic results on a doe last season. Shot was high lung and a bit further back then I wanted, but blood trail was awesome and the deer expired about 80 yards away.
I’ve used the Black Hornets 3 deer seasons & they have performed flawlessly. I’ve harvested 8 deer with them & all have expired within 40yds. The blood-trail’s were phenomenal but not needed when you see the deer topple over in sight. They are easy to get back to hair shaving sharp. I have blunted the tips of 2 heads after pass-throughs & hitting something hard. I’m sure I could have used Magnus’s top tier warranty but I just purchased another pack. I will continue to have the Black Hornets on the end of my arrows. 🦌🦌
John I was THIS close to ordering either Rek FX4 or the A2 broadheads based on your previous reviews. But now I'm convinced I want to give these a try. I like everything I see about these. Very clever design and looking forward to trying these this coming deer season.
Tooth of the arrow broadheads are great I got some and they went straight through a new foam block my kudu points only go about half way they are super short also so they fly awesome and the sharpeners they sell are easy to use
The 125 Ser Razor has been the only broadhead I use for nearly 7 years now. Years prior I wasted a lot of time and money searching for "the one". My frustration ended when I got my hands on these nasty little buggers. The 2 main reasons the Ser Razor has been my one and only for 7 years is #1 I always get a pass through, quartering to, away, broadside, doesn't matter, goes right through. And #2, 100% animal recovery so far. There are many other reasons the Ser Razor is my #1.
I love these heads. Only fixed that I found to Fly spot on with my field points at 60 yards. I personally like straight blade, ser razon are touch noisy . Thanks for all your awesome videos
Ive shot 2 elk with these the last couple years. They have worked flawlessly for me. I actually get better flight out of these then i do with my Iron Wills.
Not just the little bit of penetration it had into the concrete but sticking in the concrete block really surprised me. Between me and a buddy we both had perfect pass-throughs on our bucks this year. Pulled the arrow out of the dirt, and the Broadhead is still sharp and not distorted. I was pleasantly surprised by that
I'm switching to fixed for the first time this year and bought two packs of this exact head earlier this off-season. Looking forward to getting one bloody.
I started shooting these after watching your videos on them and haven’t looked back! Can get these razor sharp with the stay cheap guide and they are durable so you can use for many different deer and don’t forget about the lifetime warranty!
@@progradepainting3755 not proper material because it's not as expensive. You see what it did in the test. You pay for the name Iron Will. These heads have taken way more deer than Iron Will & will still be taking them when Iron Will fades away. That company is there to make money solely , not help fella hunters buy affordable strong heads to take wild game.
What I love about these is how they fly. Indistinguishable from my field points out to 80 yards. I also had a pass through on a doe last year that cut a rib in half on both sides of the deer. I do wish the blades were a bit tougher, as the serated tips take a lot of damage, but the warranty makes up for that. Are they the BEST head? No, but they might just be the best for the money. For deer...I see no reason to buy anything more expensive, though I'd pick up something with better steel if I drew an elk tag.
I have loved my ser-razors and have so far converted one buddy to them as well. Magnus is a great company and stands by their warranty. I have only had one head be damaged by a deer (hit the offside shoulder knuckle dead center) and they sent a replacement head with no issues. I’d love to see a heavier version with a stainless ferrule just to see how it would compare with the aluminum.
Love this head. I use this and the QAD exodus, but slightly prefer the exodus simply because with my setup, they penetrate much better. I''ve sent in many magnus heads and gotten full replacements, usually caused by hitting a rock after a pass through.
I like the hornet, all the results you see and a no questions ask lifetime warranty, shoot a deer send em a picture of a damaged blade and they mail you a new one no questions, the other heads are super solid but don’t replace heads
