- Welcome to the Weapon Blueprint series were I will be going through weapon blueprints and showing you how to unlock them and how they are best used!
Today we are looking at the Black Adder blueprint for the SCAR-H or the MK17 unlocked at tier 8 of the battlepass!

The FN SCAR (Special Operations Forces Combat Assault Rifle) is a gas-operated (short-stroke gas piston) self-loading rifle with a rotating bolt. It is constructed to be extremely modular, including barrel change to switch between calibers. The rifle was developed by Belgian manufacturer FN Herstal (FNH) for the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM) to satisfy the requirements of the SCAR competition. This family of rifles consist of two main types. The SCAR-L, for "light," is chambered in 5.56×45mm NATO cartridge and the SCAR-H, for "heavy," is chambered in 7.62×51mm NATO. Both are available in Close Quarters Combat (CQC), Standard (STD), and Long Barrel (LB) variants.
In early 2004, United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) issued a solicitation for a family of Special Operations Forces Combat Assault Rifles, the so-called SCAR, designed around two different calibers but featuring high commonality of parts and identical ergonomics. The FN SCAR system completed low rate initial production testing in June 2007. After some delays, the first rifles began being issued to operational units in April 2009, and a battalion of the U.S. 75th Ranger Regiment was the first large unit deployed into combat with 600 of the rifles in 2009. The U.S. Special Operations Command later cancelled their purchase of the SCAR-L and planned to remove the rifle from their inventory by 2013. However, they will continue to purchase the SCAR-H version, and also plan to purchase 5.56 mm conversion kits for the SCAR-H, allowing it to substitute for the SCAR-L.

I love using the scar especially in plunder running with a mp7 or a uzi. I get 30 40 kill games running that on ps aswell

Fun fact: The rubberized grip only reduces 4% of the gun's recoil
As much as I'm a fan of the black weapons, I built my own non yellow Scar using the "Fugitive" and "Blank Stare" blueprints that gave it a nice grey and dark green combo that meshed well with the tan coloured mags. Though the mags are now black on most blueprints by default.
If you take off all the attachments for the blank stare blueprint, it’s now colored black. Same with the Steel Curtain and XRK M4 blueprints

This is definitely my favourite season in terms of blueprints so far. All black is just the way to go
I love this blueprint I've been using it on my scar ever since I unlocked it. Only thing I don't like is once you put the 30rd mag goes tan . I run 5mw laser , merc foregrip and stippled grip and 30 round mag. I run irons but sometimes a sight .
they really need to show the scar some more love in this game

I don't know what the answer is though. Maybe a 40 or 50 round magazine would help alot!
I think they should buff the movement speed and give the SCAR a 75 round drum. This would reduce the movement speed to it's original state so you're already so slow with a 30 round mag as is.

The laser ruins the all-black look of the gun. Should go with Sleight of Hand since you only get 20 rounds with this gun.
If you buy the peacekeeper operator pack theirs a black laser for the SCAR
i actually bought two blueprints just to get 30 round black magazine, and a black tac laser. already had a black 25 mag from a previous blueprint that i already had. the fugitive long barrel looks so nice on it, with that gray black combination...look even better than the ghostly premonitions HK and i love that gun.

I love using it but I feel like the scar is one of those guns that need 6 attachments to really compete outside of solos or duos. You either have to sacrifice ads, recoil and/or combined with ammo capacity
Bro I like runing the phychsis with monolithic suppressor boards tech 20.0” LB barrel Thermal hybrid FTAC Hunter stock 30 round mag in Warzone and multiplayer probably best mobility set up with 30 round mag and slight of hand and iron sights just to keep it fresh and remind you of what a beauty really shooting
I really love the scar it’s my favorite gun but it also needs a buff.
I don’t know if you know or not but the merc foregrip increases your movement speed by 4% it’s a hidden bonus
I don’t know what it is, but something about this combo on the SCAR seems to do better for me than on any of the other ARs
IRL I think there is an Scar H black series right? IDK if would go as a variant as it may be only the color that is different
Glad they’re making more all black blueprints so we can make cooler blueprints.
It kinda reminds me of the 6.8mm all black SCARs from Endwar. Definitely one of my favorite blueprints for the gun but in terms of use I still like the AK and AMAX a lot more on multiplayer.
Love the SCAR in multiplayer, it’s feels a lot better now that it did initially. It has a lot of damage but the only gripe is that it’s bulky and slow rate of fire.
What would you replace if you wanted to add at least the 25 round mag?
I'm sort of bummed with Modern Warfare lately since there's leaks of packs for new players that contain items from previous battle passes. Mara's tier 100 forest ops skin was one of those items. :/

@@michelangelo3911 I'm aware that they'll be in different bundles. I just find it scummy that they're releasing higher tier items that other players spent hours grinding for. I think Epic Games did something similar with Fortnite's early season skins and got huge community backlash as a result.

I think now that we're getting ready for the next CoD, and Warzone Seasons look like they're gonna be over soon, *_now_* is a good time to release them in bundles.
I treat these Battle Pass Rewards like a Pre-Order Bonus. Everyone will get the opportunity to have them *eventually*
The SCAR has 3 problems that make it week in Warzone. 1. Only a max 30 mag, which means you can't use it well in trio or quads. Still usable with that in solo and duo, but forget about using it in quad. 2. It's always an take 8 body shots to kill. There is no 6 shot close range. That is both an advantage and disadvantage. It's disadvantage is that it has the second slowest time to kill of all the AR in Warzone. The advantage is that it has pretty high damage at range. 3. But the third problem is that the recoil make it kinda hard to use at range. You can put an VLK 3.0 and try to use it as 60+ meter option, but hitting 8 out of 30 bullets becomes a problem.
The thing that makes the SCAR unique in Warzone is that you can use Lightweight suppressor and not use longer barrel. But of course you are losing bullet velocity, which means that it's really hard to hit long range moving targets. So you can make a really fast and snappy AR, but it will be almost useless at range. If you want that you can just use an M4A1 without a barrel attachment, and you will have decent ADS speed and ok range.

The black stare barrel is an absolute must on this blueprint

I'd use this if barrel, stock and magazine attachments matched colour, but it's a badass variant.
Really got to pick your fights in wz I played solo duos with this and you can do damage I got a win just don’t push the range to far and head shots mo betta forsure

Could also be a Reference to MW2 since they did use the Scar in the 3 missions you fight them in (sadly no M4 Drops even though they were seen brandishing them in Loose Ends)

@@dillonc7955 It's a rpm buff that's needed maybe even make it faster than the kilo because it already has worser recoil yet slower rpm or a 3 shot chest mutiplier.
I use commando grip for multiplayer and bipod foregrip for Warzone
You should check out the black cat blueprint at battle pass 70. It's an ak74u black but looking at it I'm hoping that the barrel will be like the revolution with 90 degree gas block and black polymer. At least that's what I hope
What do you about infinity ward adding a lind of create your own thing, like making the skins and similar more complex.

This is one of My Favorite Guns and I'm using it in warzone.
My issue is that it kinda ruins the gun aesthetic if I use the 30 round magazine (Tanned)
The 30 round black mag for that would be sick
there is a blueprint with the black 30 rounder, bought it just for this build a few days ago. just check the store. and there is another one with a black tac laser.

BuffNerd, If you dont know, try Zip Tie M4 or Fair Brass and remove all atachments. You will be surprised. Devs change default stock and barrel to dark grey :)
After 9 months finally get black weapons

They 'nerfed' the scar when they nerfed no-stock. I used to use collapsed stock, and a bipod foregrip and it was killer! Now the recoil is a bit much but its still fun to use.

there's the monochrome blueprint in the season 1 battlepass
The Monochrome from season 1 is all black, as is the Hammer and Sickle blueprint from the Kuvalda veteran Spec Ops challenge mission.
