Hi Jamie. It's so heart warming to see you taking your old Dad with you on so many of your trips. Our parents give us so much love, care and attention , the least we can do is return those acts of unconditional love by making their lives as full and enjoyable as we can. Your Dad obviously enjoys his his trips with you immensely and it's a credit to you that you involve him in your life so much as sadly so many older folk get forgotten. I love your videos even though I'm not a match angler, the Thames has always been my river and I have caught pretty much every fresh water species going, many of specimen weight in my 50 years of angling, but I have learnt many great feeder fishing tips from your videos. I always enjoy your match fishing adventures and find myself rooting for you hoping you'll bag that final slab that will win you the section or overall match. Ps I caught my PB Thames carp a few weeks ago. A 17lb torpedo shaped perfect linear Mirror on 5lb line, maggot feeder, size 12 hook and a 1oz quiver tip. It took me 30 minutes to land it lol. I'm telling everyone 😊
Well done Jamie. Not a bad result for a short bloke. (You do look bigger on the telly) Nice to meet you at The Big One and thanks for taking the time to answer my questions
Well done Jamie. Nice to see fellow Sheffield anglers doing well. I see John Driscoll was on the next peg too. Nice friendly fella, and fellow Match Fishing Scene angler who I've drawn next to myself on occasions. Well done again.
Yep, this is the perfect format, on a long video with " just catching" fish I tend too skip bits but you had the perfect balance , well done I enjoyed it all. Ps your enthusiasm is infectious.
old video I know! but I'm no match angler but love a bit of bream fishing on my local venue Ferry Meadows.. really enjoyed watching it and the finishing weight was a nice surprise! well done
Another great video and congratulations on winning the festival! Saw you at the big one last Saturday keep up the great work with the channel loving what you are doing with it.
Another great video, well done. Was great catching up you at the big one. Used some of the tips I've gained from you yesterday, think they definitely helped get a few more bites!!! 😀
CATCH fishing channel Yes. used to spend a lot of time Bream fishing the Welland and Witham... really miss that.. watching your vlogs highlights how things have changed in the last 15 years.. keep up the good work.
excellent result Jamie, well done!could you maybe do a quick feature on how you keep/breed your worms?I remember reading a feature you done in matchfishing mag about it and wouldn't mind giving it a try myself.
Can you do a quick q and a on expenses. How much does it cost to enter an event like this? Can any one enter? How much do you win? Top videos gave me the push to try match fishing myself. Keep it up.
Jamie another great video. When you start the match do you introduce your feed with a larger feeder then switch to a smaller one or just stick with the small one.
What box you using there matey please ? I have my old milo it's cast iron heavy and looking to change this year ! Any advice welcome...good to see a fellow Sheffield angler doing well. I'm off to Ednaston , Brailsford for 1st day out tomorrow!
Mainly because you can get more bait in through a NISA but yes the conditions and wind changed. You don't miss any details in these vids do you mate ;)
those packed keepnets make me cringe, why not push for more regular weigh in say every 30 mins, dont just say thats the way matches are, i dont buy that bullshit you guys can change this by saying we want better fish care. or we dont fish
I can see how it looks mate and thank fully catches like that are very rare on that venue so it was a bit of a one off. In my own defence that's why I took an extra keepnet to the peg just in case that happened so I could split to fish up. Fish care is important to us mate

Hi Jamie well done about time you got dad a better chair😊😊😊
Haha oh David I keep asking him but he's happy with the one he's got! Haha
Great result, i love fishing in the trees (peg 2) but would normally fish max 35m, i will try out to 55m next time and see what comes back.
Let me know how you get on please Darran mate :)
Great video, eve better result on day 2,Do you think it was an advantage having to chase a weight and had a positive effect on how you fished??
I'll cover that in the next Q&A thanks mate ;)
Well done hope you qualify at Barston.
Well done Jamie, lovely bag of fish and result. Do you use the Matrix counter to keep track of what you have caught?

Thanks again Stuart, I'll mention those things in the next Q&A mate
☺ nice video !
Well done lad.
great issue Jamie superb format too,why did you change you're mind on the distance to fish, was it due to the conditions or just instinct??
Well done Jamie
What box you using there matey please ? I have my old milo it's cast iron heavy and looking to change this year ! Any advice welcome...good to see a fellow Sheffield angler doing well. I'm off to Ednaston , Brailsford for 1st day out tomorrow!
It's just the Matrix 36 box mate there are new versions out now. Thanks mate really appreciate it ;)
when you fed your short line it liked a nisa feeder but then when you baited up you changed to a bullet, was that because conditions forced it?
Mainly because you can get more bait in through a NISA but yes the conditions and wind changed. You don't miss any details in these vids do you mate ;)
cheers Jamie,i do follow all your vlogs in detail, great to see how the best anglers do things
