RAP is an acronym for rhythm and poetry and Em excels in one aspect of that -- rhythm; this aspect is primarily concerned with rhymes, flow, double entendres and delivery. Nas excels in the poetry aspect of RAP; this part of RAP is concerned with conceptual subject-matter, storytelling, similes and metaphors. Nas is also very good at the rhythm aspect of rap due to the fact that his style is essentially a mix between Rakim and Kool G Rap. A person that values poetry would likely place Nas above Em by citing that technical aspect. Also, Nas has a much better discography than Em

This is the Em we need, he's proven his technical now we have the emotions and him making a point that he's the greatest when it comes to rap and he wants the respect he's owed. Everyone who uses logic knows hes the greatest, the rest are going by emotions or money.
RAP is an acronym for rhythm and poetry and Em excels in one aspect of that -- rhythm; this aspect is primarily concerned with rhymes, flow, double entendres and delivery.
Nas excels in the poetry aspect of RAP; this part of RAP is concerned with conceptual subject-matter, storytelling, similes and metaphors.
Nas is also very good at the rhythm aspect of rap due to the fact that his style is essentially a mix between Rakim and Kool G Rap.
A person that values poetry would likely place Nas above Em by citing that technical aspect. Also, Nas has a much better discography than Em

Nas is better at poetry and it's not even close. Em is better at rhythm and that's not even close as well. The idea that Em is the most technical rapper is false. Poetry is a technical aspect of rap and Em is nowhere close to being the best in that component. People hyperfixate on his strength in the rhythm aspect and think that's the end of the discussion.

Illmatic is widely recognized as the best album in Hip-Hop history; and there are legendary rappers that put It was written on the same level. Nothing Eminem has ever done touches those two albums.

There are literally so many bars in this song, I'm not sure where to start. The doubles, triples, Jay-Z diss, boxing scheme at the end, cadence switches...it's genius and interesting as hell. The beat is insane. Tron and Sean were dope as hell. This album is gonna piss some people off. Top tier rappers minus Kendrick and Wayne are about to get their shit handed to them

Em’s verse was enough. People hold him to such a high standard of it ain’t bar bar bar heavy they say it’s wack. Why can’t it just be enough? Then we wonder why he always saying he has something to prove. I loved the song, and the album is coming!
It's not about the verse, it's about the song. The whole song sounds like it's just a simple buildup, even during Em's verse. Like even he is just a buildup to something else. And I don't know how to feel if a song is solely for buildup reasons, it's good, but compared to Houdini, it's weaker. We'll see when the album is out.
