A cold and windy flight - 6-12mph FMS F-18 64mm

It was a cold and windy day. On the way to the field, the weather report said 6-8 mph from the NW. On the way home, the report had changed to 10-12 mph. It felt stronger. The F-18 64mm is a speedy plane. I hit over 80 mph according to the Spektrum SkyID installed for Remote ID compliance.
The FMS F-18 64mm with an AR630 with AS3X+ handled the wind extremely well. It is an impressive upgrade to the original AS3X.

Flying in cold weather certainly impacts lipo battery performance. The bigger batteries do last better than the small 2S and 3S under 1300mAh. The larger 3S and 4S batteries, 2200mAh and larger, do warm up when they run so I seem to get 75-90% of the summer-time performance.
