I started watching this Iowa team last March in the tournament. I have seen the "Caitlin Clark Effect" since then and watched every game I could during this season and highlights of all of them. What is evident is the fact that all of her coaching staff and all of her teammates have long since bought into the philosophy of letting Caitlin do her thing, and being able to react to it in ways that create successful scoring, baskets made, and games won. Her ability to see forward, and anticipate things is uncanny. Yes, she does miss a lot, and yes, she does commit turnovers. But look at all the ways she affects the game not only making those circus logo 3s, but cutting inside around defenses in the paint, and off the chain passing skills that her team are finally getting used to!! History has been made by Caitlin, and we all got to see it happen. Congrats CC and Iowa, and I sincerely hope y'all Hawkeyes manage to take home that Championship Trophy as a fitting capstone to an awesome season for the entire team.

Whether it was an actual injury or her just playing more timid, it was over at half time. Too many fouls on LSU players meant they had to sit. LSU also didn't have the energy after their UCLA game and knew they couldn't match Iowa out of the half. Game was over just a few minutes into the 2nd half.

I watched a clip of Caitlin Clark in high school where the opposing fans were chanting “overrated”. She calmly did a behind the back dribble and buried a 3 from deep on her way to 40 points! She shut them up, played like a boss and I have been hooked ever since!!

I was wondering what all the hype was about Caitlin Clark but now I know she is for real. She is dangerous once she touches the ball. Not to take away from LSU as they have an athletic team. Watching Caitlin reminds me a lot of Steph Curry where she can hit the three pointers from long distance forcing LSU to pick up the defense all the way from half court. So amazing!

Only a select few play in three dimensions. Clark being one of them. I’ve never seen a player with this type of control and command since Bird!!!

Caitlin Clark is simply electrifying to watch on the court. Her skills and performance are mesmerizing and have elevated the excitement and interest in women's basketball games.
I know everyone sees Caitlin and rightfully so she is a beast…. But she ain’t playing with scrubs either… the support she has from her team is great! The cuts and spreading the floor is dope… great game!
Affolter and Stuelke are the only four star recruits on the roster. What Caitlin Clark did, as one of the best HS players in America, is incredible. Usually when a McDonald's All American goes to a non-blue blood he/she either struggles to make the tournament or ends up transferring out, but she elevated Iowa from being a pretty good program to being a brand name in women's hoops.

Iowa played 8 tonight. There were only four other scores and only two of those four scored double digits. Sadly she is not getting a lot of support. If she were it would be a cake walk for them.

But seeing her on tv was amazing, the way she lifted Iowa with her play was something to behold. The impact she’s made in women’s basketball is understated. Great game from both teams though.

A great game. It's great to see Clark and Reese play again. I am not surprise by the result. Clark has always been a fantastic player and great shooter. Glad she now has a team to help her. A more diversified team. Both players were emotional and really happy for both of them. Both Clark and Reese would be great for WNBA.

Angel Reese just totally took Women College Basketball to another Level. What out Angel Reese and the Big Time Following of those L.S.U. Tigers no one would been watching any of this. So thanks Coach Mulkey, L.S.U. and Angel Reese for such an amazing two season Run, which included Winning a National Championship and defending a National Championship as well. Watching Caitlin Clark is like watching Larry Bird in the '80s. She just makes her team better by feeding the ball to her mates and has that killer instinct the greats have. She is fun to watch and she'll be one of the faces in the WNBA in the future.

Clark is a once in a generation player and last night showed why many people consider her to be the best player in college basketball. And a great role model to young girls who play basketball. For years , I never watched the girls in the NCAA tournament but that all changed this year. She's a scoring machine.
She broke records in assists, phenomenal playmaker and passer. If she's not burning you with a 3 she gets you on an assist or a drive to the basket.

I live in New England. Clark took a shot from Iowa toward the hoop in my driveway. It went through snow and sleet during it's 53 minutes in the air, so it wasn't a swish, but she nailed it.
Iowa is a class team winning with class. LSU can't even show up for the National Anthem. I was never into women's sports, but Caitlin Clark has changed all that and she's an actual female making all those 3 pointers. Caitlin has piqued my interest in college women's basketball. Such a light touch on the ball. She's phenomenal.
