If Luke needed to give the same type of performance that Ryan did, he would not have been able to pull it off. It's a good thing he dropped out. Ryan was great in the role, despite the complexity of the film.
After watching Too Old to Die Young I can’t help but think Miles Teller would’ve been a better Julian. Obviously he hadn’t even made Whiplash yet but just something I’d love to have seen, parallel universe and all that.
@@afrosamuraiwarrior although I was disappointed when I first watched it, going through a depressed period after a break up years later, and coming back to it I actually love it now. Expectations ruined it for me the first time!
the older i get the more i relate to the tired and dry way Nic tells a story.
You will never have a bromance as strong as Ryan Gosling and Nic Refn's.
I love Nick films
RIP the 101 :( so many memories
Thanks for the upload, this was great.
Good director

That was funny with Luke :D Ryan is the best
I think he would've done a good job. Goose has a few things that made Julian work, though.
I'd change Evans for Gosling every day!

Absolutely agreed. Gosling was brilliant, but Miles has this very dark aura about him.
I found the interviewer's burst of laughter at 3:15 really offensive.
Why? It was funny. I have friends that are actors and they just love great stories and having fun, wherever they are, nobody gets offended by funny.
And Luke Evans is happy for doing the Hobbit as Only God Forgives is a horrible pretentious movie.
for me its a disappointing movie. i was expecting it to be a revenge movie with a muay thai fighting from start to finish.
