This is I assume their presentation launch for their trip to America later in the year, to take part in the Rose Parade and Bandfest in Pasadena? I don’t speak Japanese, but a few words from the lady mentioned America. But the biggest thing .OMG, from this video is all the media cameras filming this performance . People, you have to seriously put this in prospective, these are just school kids. It’s a testament to how hard they work outside their schooling. The following and pressure laid on these kids is truly amazing! If I were a parent, I would be incredibly proud on one hand and concerned on the mental stress they endure on the other hand! This is not just a local school thing! It’s a Global tour, like professional bands do on tour, performing to the masses. Again this kids deserve all the accolades bestowed upon them
The parents and school manage the pressure just fine. The kids love it. It's an after school "club," all voluntary. Many new students enroll in the school precisely to be part of this band. Relax.
I believe they also played at DISNEYLAND in Anaheim during this US West Coast Tour. Being in this badass band is like being in the French Foreign Legion; either march or die. (just kidding!)
A Very Very Good And Solid performance by this Japanese High Schools Brass. A Very Big Salute To them For All Their Hard Work. Even Indians Brass Bands Cannot Stand Up To The Proud Japanese. 🇯🇵🇮🇳🙏
Esta es la mejor version de sing sing sing que ha performado KTSHS Band. Es la misma que hicieron en USA. Lastima que las generaciones posteriores no la hagan mas. Sobre todo el dificil baile inicial

Fabulous show, these girl played wonderful even latin rithms like manbo, when the played and danced Into the Mood they did it like professionals , I do not why the next generations of Tachibana Band didn't included in their performances 😑
I have always enjoyed Glenn Miller's music, but the KT band plays it in the most entertaining way. They are and always will be my favorite band. They do way more than just march, and they play better than a lot of college bands.
Most of the dance music is by Benny Goodman and his Dance band, SingSingSing being famous and the drummer was Gene Krupa . Which has become their signature tune now in concerts and displays. Their play book is incredibly varied of old and new and a wonderful Disney melody’s, which flows beautifully from one film theme to another. So Jesse, I fully agree with you, I think the band is going through a re-grouping, as the old seniors are leaving to pastures new and the then juniors are promoted to a senior status and working with their new enrolee are being groomed, it takes time to perfect at a high standard, but they will be back.

It's almost always their closing number (one show ended with It Don't Mean A Thing), taking about 3 minutes to do. The other 5-7 minutes are other numbers, which change year to year, done in their own unique way. That's why people love their shows: they are great entertainment, and always fresh.

全国に行けなかったけど、114～116期の演技演奏が一番好きです。ドリルステージやマーチングは今の現役高校生より上だと思っています。当時は楽しくてアップテンポな曲が多いんだね。
2018年のローズパレードで感動的な素晴らしい演奏とパフォーマンスを魅せてくれたメンバーさん達ですね。
マンボ･ジャンボがちゃんと聴けるビデオだから保存してます。パーカッションが爽快で心地良いです✨。
いいですね～ さすが京都橘吹奏楽部。
特にこのステージ、パーカス隊の姿がはっきり見えます。
見所がいっぱいあって、バンド全体、カラーガードやソロなどの注目部分、そして元気なパーカス隊。
一回観ただけではいろんな部分を見逃してしまい、結局３回は観てしまいます。
会場ではライブ感で感動するのでしょうけど、３回観れるのは動画ならではですね。
動画をアップされているうｐ主さん、他でも撮影や動画を公開されている皆さんに感謝が耐えません。
他のマーチングバンドも演奏やマーチングはとても素晴らしいのですが、観ていて涙が出てくるのは今のところ京都橘だけです。
（スティックが折れたことがトラウマにならなくて良かったです。元気いっぱいでしたね。）

I believe their founding Director retired and his successor just has different ideas. Must also be tough for everyone during this pandemic.
